I had been using henna for five years, but grew tired of the five hour process each month and hour minimum process every couple of weeks for roots. My mom tried another brand of color, depositing shampoo and loved it, but it did not have my shade so found this product.Here are the positives: it is so much easier and quicker than even a box dye (and certainly henna!). The color deposits well and leaves your hair, shiny and soft with no chemical smell (I am very sensitive to smells so this is a real plus for me). I am 65 years old and my roots are white instead of a lovely gray. While the root area tends to be brighter using this product, I still feel it covers gray very well.The not so good: if you are not used to coloring your hair, you will find the process very messy. Be sure to wear old clothing and spread towels on the floor and countertop, and where the gloves provided. Secondly, although I am not unhappy with the final color, my hair tends to light red with any product so this is a little brighter than I want. My plan is to get a second bottle of brown and either combine the two products or simply run my hands through my hair to with the brown to create more depths and a deeper color.

OMG!!! This stuff really works! I was a little skeptical about how well a shampoo in dye would work. I have spots of “dye resistant” hair, especially on the front of my head, in my bangs where it’s like totally obvious. I used the wine red because I’ve been a red head most of my life and I followed the direction completely. It rinsed out very easily and left my hair feeling clean and soft, not at all dyed. And when I looked in the mirror, I was a red head again! Even my dye resistant spots semi took. I couldn’t be more pleased! And here’s the thing. The box says for use on white, yellow or gray hair. Well, I definitely have gray hair, but I’m primarily brunette, and it still worked beautifully! Yes, the brunette part of my hair is definitely darker than the top of my head which was predominantly gray, but it still looks awesome! So, in conclusion, for anyone thinking about trying this for the first time, or if you’ve used shampoo-in dyes before, this one is worth every cent! Just my opinion, but I was so happy with the results that I bought the purple for when I’m feeling a bit wild!

The bottle top was broken and when you pump it only come out 1 side. Not usable at all

I have a a lot of gray. This covered it perfectly. I got the wrong color, but it still did a great job. I will be ordering the right color.

This hair color works well. The two ingredients mix as you use it from the bottle. I get at least 3-4 applications per bottle. It covers gray well, but you should leave it on longer (at least 40 minutes). Shampoos and rinses out well.

I ordered this, and when I received it the box was in bad shape and the nottle feels half empty, I dont know if thats normal I dont have a scale to weigh it, but it does feel empty!

this was really a good product works really well. It really is like shampoo in your hair. Leave it on for 20 minutes. Take it off and your color is a new.
