These freeze dried sweets are so unbelievably tasty! I have to be honest and say I inhaled these 🤣 far too easy to eat. The bag is resealable but there isn’t much need for that 😂

First time trying freeze-dried skittles and sweets and was not sure what to expect, but they are really good and a little addictive! They are sour and sweet, whilst being crunchy yet still melt in the mouth at the same time. The Candy Super Mix primarily consists of these skittles as well as a mixture of other vegan sweets e.g. refreshers, drum sticks etc. You get about 3 - 4 of these hidden amongst the skittles. I wasn't sure if the other sweets would be freeze dried or not but can confirm that they are and they are also coming out of their wrappers too. The sweets come in a 200g resealable bag however they contain very little information on the pouch so if you were giving them as a gift, it wouldn't be clear to the recipient unless they scanned the QR code which takes them to the manufacturer's website. Even that does not make it clear enough though as it just goes to the home page so you would need to know what mix you have got before trying to find out more information about it.

I've seen social media posts about these sweets so I was interested to try them.They're something else!The photo shows the 'refresher' sweet and some of the skittles so you can see the texture.They take 'normal' sweets and alter them through the freeze-drying process so they become light, aerated and crunchy! They're very moreish. You also get some other traditional sweets included which have been given the freeze dried treatment while in their packaging, making them puff up and burst out the seams! It's good to have the packaging still in tact so you can see what they were/are!The sweets preserve their tangy flavours.I shared these with my son and we both enjoyed them.They don't stick in your teeth when you crunch them which is a bonus!They arrive well packaged in an attractively designed resealable bag. It's a very decent quantity in the bag (comparing to, say, pick 'n mix selections) so priced about right I'd say.I'd get these again and would have them in mind for gifting when something fun is in order.

This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.The sweets come well-presented inside the resealable bag, though I must admit I was a little confused about the condition of the larger chews at first - I thought that you just got them included in the bag, but, they're actually freeze-dried as well, and positively bursting from their wrappers. In all, there were 4 in the bag I received.As for the Skittles, there was a nice variety of flavours, which were pleasant enough to eat. The process of freeze-drying turns their centres into melt-in-the-mouth 'rice-puff'-style pieces, whilst leaving the crunchy shell intact.I didn't personally like the larger chews - I felt that their flavour had evaporated, and they were too hard for me to eat. I fully appreciate that taste is subjective, of course, so mileage may vary.Regardless, a good value item that makes a fun treat.

The price might seem a bit steep at first glance, but I think these are worth it. The sweets have been through some kind of process that makes them dry and crumbly and way more flavourful. The drumsticks, for example, aren't chewy as they normally are, but more like Edinburgh rock. The fruity flavours explode on your tongue and they are definitely moreish. Hide from friends.

This is my first time having freeze-dried sweets and I understand the hype behind it! It's a fun way to try sweets and I can choose to crunch on them or suck on them until they melt in my mouth. I've never tried the blue (watermelon) Skittles before but it's my favourite now. The sweets in the wrapper have an airy texture that eventually hardens at the end and becomes solid. It's a fun experience but it is expensive. It's not something I would have often but once in a while is fine.
