Q: How heavy is it? Could it be knocked over by wind or determined cats? I have two Bengals and don’t want them to be able to squeeze under if tipped.

I don't think they would be able to knock it over, but I guess anything is possible. We haven't tested that theory at our new house yet. We had it on a small apartment deck so it couldn't go anywhere. Haven't put it together for our backyard deck yet.

Q: How do you secure it to a deck platform?

I don't know the answer to that as mine is located in my back yard behind my house so the cat can go out through the window and into the catico.

Q: where do I find ladders to go in the cage????

I might not understand your question but there aren't ladders - you use the covered squares to make little platforms

Q: What metal is it made from?. I have a stamped concrete patio and can’t use metal that may rust. Aluminum is perfect.

I don't know what the type of metal is as there is like a black coating over the metal. I would expect that if the black coating comes off, it would rust - but I have only had it for a week so I'm not sure. You may want to contact the company that makes it to see about what type of metal is used.
