Not just for drinks!
Fits big cups and yes the cups don't sit firmly around the edge because the holder has a bottom at 1.5 inches. It stillholds all sizes of cans and cups, just not firmly like if there were no bottom, but still firm enough I can't knock the semiloose cups out or over no matter how hard I knock them or bump the table. I am using them on a 1 inch thick table. Your edge to clamp on cannot be bigger than 1 1/2 inches.I took one to find the biggest plastic cups to fit them for my computer table to fill with pens, pencils, scissors. I don't need a drawer now. I need 3 more holders for for all my stuff AND a bokay!

Great!!!
These are great! Received them quickily and they work great on my adirondack chairs. They slide right on, so they are very easy to install. It so nice to be able to have your drink at your finger tips! They hold big aluminum cups and little bottle and cans. Great price too! Only thing I wish we could order 1 color instead of this assortment. Would have liked to have all black or white instead of red, black, and white.

Work great to secure cup/water to side of table.
I applied these cup holders on 5he side of my drafting table to hold cups of water to clean my brushes when I paint. I wish they were a bit deeper but when my disposable red plastic cups are 3/4 full with water they stay nicely secured in the cup area when I swirl my brushes in the water.

Like having extra tables!
Perfect addition to my deck furniture! Gives spot for drinks all around the deck! Love it!

Warps.
I like these a lot but then noticed that after about 3 weeks the black ones (I ordered 2 sets) warped from the sun, making them unusable as your drink is no longer parallel to the floor but is canted several degrees, causing your drink to easily spill. This didn’t happen to the white or red ones. And they’re in the shade more often than in the sun. Wish they would fix this.

Stronger than you think
It held my 16 oz heavy glass, ice and drink just fine. It will easily hold a can or bottle beer. I wish it had a slot cut into it so I can slide my wine glass stem into it. My wine glass bottom is too wide to fit the holder.

Good value for the cost
Used on the boat as extra cup holders. Will snap off with heavier drinks if using on a beach chair, but all and in all very happy with the purchase.

Attached cup holders.
Thy work great on TV tray tables. Helps to prevent cups from tipping over insipid just placing drinks on the table. Great gift!
