I purchased this for my dad.... who was living along and was having issues showering. I had caretakers come in to help him but he really needed this chair. I looked at many on Amazon and this one seemed the nicest with the most features for an excellent price. Of course this is an item that isn't delivered in a day or two. Before this item arrived (which it got to me sooner than expected, no complaints there), my dad had a couple of accidents (falling).... so it was time to put him into assisted living, he could no longer live independently. ~~~~ This arrived about a day or two after he had been admitted into a hospital (for falling), so it was not necessary for me to even open it. ~~~~ It did come securely boxed from the company. I did not open or attempt to use, but like I said, from my research, this seemed to be one of the nicer transfer chairs and the price really was better than others. So for that, I'm giving this item 5 stars. I think - had we had the opportunity to use it - it would have worked out well for my dad.

Took a little rereading to assemble, but seems sturdy

This seems like a sturdy chair that should make my husband’s showers easier and more manageable for me as a care giver. The negatives with the purchase were the flimsy packaging with cheap cardboard and only packaging tape and a prayer holding it together. Fortunately, all the parts were there when I opened the package. Everything else seems fine about the chair but I haven’t used it yet. May update this review if there are problems.I

This tub chair was ordered for my husband who is confined to a wheelchair. It is serving the purpose very well. The aide helps him shower and he is very comfortable. Great purchase which was recommended by an Occupational Therap[ist

The directions for assembling the chair could've been a more thorough, (the drawings didn't match the parts and directions correctly) but I managed to do it in the end using my own common sense. The chair makes showering my disabled husband so much easier for both him and me as his caregiver

I have had this chair for less than 2 months and using it for my 90# mom. And now it is rusting and not sliding. The internal bearings appear to be made of carbon steel and are now locked up. buy from another manufacture

Works great, very comfy and sturdy. Easy assembly. I have no fear in the shower with this chair.

NEED THIS FOR POST HIP SURGERY UP HERE IN BC CANADA. I AM SO SORE I WAS LOATHING TO UNPACK AND PUT IT TOGETHER. ITS WELL BUILT AND TOOK ME 5 MINUTES TO ASSEMBLE WITH NO TOOLS - I USED THE INSTRUCTIONS BUT ITS SO SIMPLE, YOU DONT NEED TO BOTHER WITH THEM. YOU CAN TELL BY HOW CAREFULLY ITS PACKED THESE GUYS CARE ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT. MADE BY A CHINESE MEDICAL INSTRUMENT COMPANY WITH OFFICES IN USA AND AUSTRAILIA. THEY'RE A CLASS ACT.....TIME FOR A SHOWER!
