Quality of material
I bought them as a replacement for old, overused existing power cables.I liked the tangle-free braided nylon design, this 3-prong cable looked elegant on my new red computer that I built to be sure that the electricity load is safe enough and there is no overheating, the cable is easy to handle.

Seems to be of adequate quality from look and feel. It drops almost 1-1/2 volts with 1.4 amps of AC wall current flowing though it, but doesn't feel hot near the ends or along the cord. I'm using it on a vintage guitar amplifier that I converted to three conductor line cord so the vintage look fits too.

VERY thin wire, probably more like 22ga and no shielding as stated in the description photo. The pc end of the plug doesn't fit tight. Too bad because I like the red braided look. Not all that glitters is gold.

good quality, bad manufacturing.
this thing is made well. the cord feels great and high quality. But the end that goes into the power supply is tapered wierd which makes it not stay in the power supply very well. Which probably wouldnt be an issue for desktops but i use this for my laptop and its actually an issue because i move my laptop around and it often comes unplugged.

For a 10 foot cable it seems kinda thin. I do think it will work for most pc's.
