Essential for School and Beyond!
These composition notebooks are a must-have! The 3-pack is perfect for stocking up on school supplies, and I love the colorful marble covers—they add a fun touch to my notes. The college-ruled paper is great for fitting more lines per page, and it holds up well to different writing instruments, from gel pens to highlighters. I also appreciate the conversion charts and blank class schedule inside; they’re super handy for organizing my classes. The sewn pages are a big plus, as they feel more durable than spiral notebooks. Overall, these are fantastic for students and anyone who loves to write!

Old Favorites
I've loved Oxford's composition notebooks since I was in sixth grade writing my first "novels," short stories, and limericks. They were for me and me alone since the pages weren't removable for homework, and somehow, that made them more special. I loved everything about them from the thick, black and white splotched covers to the smaller-than-homework-sized pages. I continued using them all through school, keeping research for my fiction in them, filling them with doggerel, and ideas, long after I started writing on a typewriter -- and finally on a computer.Even after I sold my first novel in the nineties, I kept using these Oxford composition notebooks for notes and doggerel and jotting down ideas. Now it's almost a quarter of a century into the 2000s, and I still love them, but had nearly forgotten about them in recent years, I'd slacked off, popping quick notes and links into my phone or tablet to put in my computer files later. When I saw this trio of colorfully covered notebooks, it all rushed back and I ordered them instantly. Sure, quick notes or links in my cell are convenient, but when I'm sitting in front of the television at night and my mind is coming up with fiction ideas, nothing beats a notebook and pen for fleshing out thoughts -- or for writing a snide haiku or two. Many of the ideas end up in the computer, in the official notes for my novels. Others items are just fun little brain exercises.I love these notebooks. While the covers aren't as thick as they were when I was a kid, they're plenty thick for allowing writing to happen anywhere, anytime. I love the colors, and I love how a 100-page composition notebook slides right into my computer case beside my MacBook. They're meant for each other. When I fill these up, I'll be buying more. I didn't realize how much I'd missed them!
