great for the price! I can't compare to other models as this is my first soldering iron. I bought this to start solo soldering jewelry and was afraid to invest in a more expensive one before I tried. To my surprise it was super easy to use and adjust temperature! It heats up super quickly. I do wish they made heat resistant cords though, with the cord still being a bit bent after being unwrapped, the soldering iron is so lightweight it can move easily, in my case in a fraction of a second the iron touched the cord and melted it-so be careful. also remember to be careful around kids and pets and do not leave unattended. The holder is really dinky and it falls off. I used my own flux and haven't tried the paste yet. Overall, it has worked really well and I'm super excited about what I've made thus far!

This could be the best $20 I have ever spent. This soldering iron is small, but it heats up instantly, it has a digital setting and works very well. I like it better than my more expensive soldering irons and soldering guns.

Good for small projects

The kit is exactly what I nneded to fix the speakers of a clock (chime). It came with everything I needed and has several interchangeable tips so you have options. The solder iron itself has the ability to set the temperature range with is nice.

The iron is cute, light, and easy to handle. But best of all it heats up super fast. it's easy to clean and the flux is just right for small jewelry soldering. I love the little holder for the copper wool. It's small but the opening is big enough that it's easy to pull it out and use. This was an incredible value. I love it!

I was skeptical about buying this. Because I never tried a tool like this before. But I do like to work with my hands and do crafts. Saw someone online using this, and it's a decent price gave it a try. This is an awesome little craft tool. It does heat up real quick. And it will smoke a bit if you don't move fast. Make sure you put it on a surface to support the heat. Cuz it will burn and burn quick.
