Bought four of these devices before getting this unit. Others were poorly designed or fried out right away or some poor design issue. Not with this one. Great great product for the price.

I’m transferring to a new PC, and didn’t have high hopes for this. Color me impressed! Zero issues, several drive tried, all worked just fine!

This worked good for transferring old files from older hard drives that I have not been able to access. Works well.

I didn't have any problems connecting some old IDE and SATA drives that I had laying around for a few years. This is a good item to keep on hand if you are frequently servicing relatively old computers that don't have NVMe slots. I also tested the clone button and it worked as described once I found a slightly larger SATA to clone to. If I can find something similar for SATA to NVMe drives, I can cover all hard drive copying scenarios.

This is super handy for accessing drives from old computers. It worked flawlessly for every drive I tried. I used it for 4 different SATA drives, 2 were hard drives and 2 were DVD+RW drives. I also used it for 1 40 pin IDE hard drive. I didn't have a 44 pin IDE drive to try it on.It's a nice compact size, which is great for storing when not in use. The speed was great and met my expectations. It was easy to use and I didn't have any problems.

This is just a great thing to have around if you do anything at all with computer maintenance and repair. This makes it easy to plug in an internal drive without actually mounting it in a computer by simply putting the drive onto the appropriate adapter on the device, and plugging the device into its power supply. It has good throughput speed, and will read and write as fast as the drive itself can go. The cables provided are long enough to use comfortably while it is plugged in to the computer, and the box has three different connections on it, both type IDE drives, and SATA drives are supported, even all of them at once according to the manufacturer, but I have only used one at a time myself. I have recovered a surprising amount of old photos and files I've used it to find from a pile of old hard drives salvaged from various computers over the last 30 years or so. I think this is a well made, if not real attractive (who cares) tool that does exactly what you need it to do, and does it well, with no headaches at all. I think this is an excellent value, and I can absolutely recommend it.
