The express train is definitely an express train
This is a fast train lapping all the other trains on the track and sometimes pushing them if they’re going to slow. You can connect other trains to it. The tunnel makes noises when the train passes through and it’s rechargeable which is nice!

Not the most durable, but works pretty well
This train has been on ever since the kids opened it for Christmas! After a week, the battery was low so we have to replace it, but it’s probably on for close to 8 hours a day because my kids love it so much! It does make it up the hills but goes very slowly

Disappointed! Doesn’t Work on Wood Train Track
I had high hopes for this train, since it did look as pictured and had a remote which added more excitement. My child was upset after we put batteries in it and the motor was running, but the train didn’t move at all. It’s not functional and didn’t perform as advertised. We had to return it!!

Lots of fun
The media could not be loaded. We have a lot of wooden tracks and the boys (age 13 and 9) had a lot of fun making tracks for this and another battery operated train to ride the rails.

Great in theory, slow train, quick battery drain
Our four year old loves the automatic train but we have found even with a new battery, the train is quite slow (especially if it needs to go over a "bridge" or "hill"). The train battery also doesn't last super long (maybe a week with moderate [<1 hour a day] of usage). Maybe we got a defective one. I love the idea but the execution is just ok.

Weak and Poor Battery Life
The one AAA battery lasts only a few days of play. The engine is very weak and barely pulls the little hills with a brand new battery. It’s not strong enough to pull the wooden train cars that our son also has.
