So far so good, pleasantly surprised! Fast, quiet and accurate! Nice and compact too!
I needed a small compact high output (100 +) psi pump and so far so good. I love the digital preset psi set and wait feature, I used/tested this a few times and my unit has either been spot on or within 1 or 2 psi which is fine with me. I purchased this to top off my high psi RV tires as needed, it took me from 50 psi to 70 psi with ease and in no time at all, I was definitely impressed with it's performance! The one thing I added was a Jayco quick connect chuck to simplify the screw on/off chuck but that was just my preference, definitely not needed, just make's life easier for me.I do own a larger Viair unit for heaver use but this smaller unit might just be capable enough for most of my needs. Hits 70 psi with ease. I'm a big fan of Viair products so I'm hoping it'll hold up over time.If you're looking for a compact 120 psi digital compressor with a digital preset psi, I wouldn't hesitate, this is definitely a solid lil unit. Not saying it'll fill 33's all day long but for most suv's, pickups and light RV's, this will do the job. I'm using it fill my 17" BF KO2's that hold 70 psi when I off road and to adjust here and there in the cold weather.

Nice solid unit great quality air hose and connectors
In the seemingly never ending search for quality products Amongst an ocean or forest of knock off’s without any quality control You need look no further there is hope BECAUSE THE COMPRESSOR IS DESIGNED WITH ALOT OF THOUGHT IT DOESN'T TAKE ALOT OF THOUGHT TO USE ITIT IS WELL MADE AND MADE TO WORK WELL With so many models to choose from there is sure to be one that fits your budget and or your requirements The specifications of the compressor believe it or not match its actual performanceThe power wire and alligator clips are sized generously but nice and short so that the compressor motor isn’t unnecessarily strained The reality is if you have very long power wires the compressor has to work much harder to suck the power out of the battery this causes the compressor motor to run hotter and shortens its lifespan. if you wanted to run the correct gauge power wire long enough to reach around the car it would have to be almost as thick as Some jumper cables on the market. However it is infinitely easier for the compressor to blow the air through the longer air hose to reach the tires Speaking of air hoses that was the first thing i noticed when i unpacked the compressor. Again going against convention the compressor comes with a High quality hose that is designed to last more than the 4 or 5 uses that so many other of the manufacturers are using It’s almost as if VIAR Understands the importance of getting the air from the compressor to the tires reliably and repeatedly without having stop every 5 or 10 minutes waiting for the compressor to cool down or In my experience stop smoking like so many of the inferior compressors on the market. My only real complaint is I wish the bag that it is stored in was a little bigger so that the power cord etc. Wasn’t bent over as soon as it comes out of the compressor. !!!ATTENTION When they say watch out it gets hot they mean it but that’s a small price to pay So I guess you could say “I KINDA LIKE IT”

As advertised. Incredible little compressor.
My airstream tires (225/75/15) need to be inflated up to 80psi cold. I was concerned this little unit wouldn't have enough power to easily inflate to the maximum pressure. I read plenty of reviews about how it quickly inflated to 40 psi but 80 is a different story. I only used it once because my tires were at 62 psi but it aired them up to 75 psi in seconds. I didn't clock it but it was fast. That tells me everything I needed to know to know. I'm really impressed. BTW... the warnings about it getting hot are real. It's just one part of the compressor but it legit gets hot. Highly recommended for convenience, value, effectiveness and space.

Great as long as my rear passenger tire does not need air
Short version of review: Yes I like it, yes I'd recommend it, yes I'd buy it again. I'm only giving it 4-stars because I cant deduct a half a star for minor gripes.I picked this particular pump mainly due to another review which compared all the Viair models. Dont recall the reviewers name, but he compares all the models by spec and does an excellent job of identifying why he things the 88P is the best of the bunch.I needed a portable pump because I need to fill my RV tires at the storage yard or on the road (trailer tires at 65 PSI are notorious for loosing pressure between trips). I picked this model because of the duty cycle, CFM at high pressure and overall build. I've only had it a couple of days and it meets all my expectations. Obviously I cant comment on the long term reliability of the unit. It does not plug into your cigarette adapter, it has two clips to attach directly to your battery, which I think is a plus. Several people have noted the wires seem thin. While I agree they look thin, they did not get warm during a reasonably long operation of the pump. So I'd say the the gauge wire is appropriate to the intended use. Others also complained about the accuracy of the pressure gauge. I found it reads a few PSI low at 50-65 PSI, but the offset seems repeatable, so if you know it reads 3 or 5 PSI low and you are filling to 65 PSI, you fill the tire to 69 or 70 and then when your done check and correct with your digital pressure gauge. The air hose is nice and screws directly onto the tire valve. The unit gets pretty hot when being operated, but that is to be expected for these devices. As I said before, this unit does what you expect and does it fairly well. Now to what I didn't likeNo case. As others have said, for this price this pump should have come with a bag. I bought the recommended $10 black bag at the bottom of the Amazon page and it does the job well. Just annoying you have to spend another $10 when other models by this manufacturer come with a bag.2nd nit. I have a Tundra Long bed pick up. Guess what? The cord, air line combo wont reach to my passenger side rear tire. It needs to be another 3 or 4 feet long. I assume it will be fine for most cars and trucks, but I guess you cant cover everything. I used my jumper cables as an extension cord (be careful not to let the two loose ends touch!) and was able to put air in my tire. Even though my tires are 33 PSI in the truck, it took a minute or two to fill up the 5 PSI I had let out to test the Viair due to the volume of air in my tires. But for emergency field use it works fine.By the way, I knew the cables would not reach between my truck and trailer without disconnectng the truck and moving close to the trailer wheels. But trailer has a 12V battery that is fairly easy to take out and move to the tires, which is what I did.So, except for a couple of fairly petty complaints I think this is a great item and would recommend it.
