Excellent for child safety, steady and easy to fix.

If you have a toddler/pet you know they will always go to places they are forbidden from. Purchased this gate for my kitchen door to stop my 1.5 yr toddler getting access to the kitchen. Every time I would enter the kitchen, she would think it's a game to come open the drawers, remove all masala boxes and try and open them, open the cabinet and remove glass glasses to play with them. No amount of yelling, explaining to her, being nice helped her understand why the kitchen was off limits to her. I had to constantly keep looking over my shoulder while frying or straining the hot rice. No more... This gate is well built. it can be extended and Im sure will fit 99% of kitchen doors unless you stay in a mansion and have a 4 ft wide kitchen door or open style kitchen. You don't have to nail it to the wall. Also because of the bars, she stands behind the door but can see me. If you have elders in the house, they will take some time to understand how to use it. Coz you have to push the button and then slide the top lock to push the door. It also has a stopper right down, so if you do not want to lock the door every time, just use the stopper and the door closes without getting locked.Price- This is the cheapest and best price you can find for any safety gate out here on amazon or other retailers.

We needed a baby gate to avoid our kid going beyond the stair as we stay in first floor. I was looking for something which was easy and quick to install without calling a carpenter.This gate is great and we feel it's a good value. It operates easily,couldn't have been easier to assemble and attaches securely. Our 5 month old daughter pulls herself up on it and it doesn't budge and just the other day we had a very large 18 months old boy at our house and he was pulling on it and it still didn't move. However we can easily open with the latch...I am ordering one more to safeguard my balcony..I hope this can be used again when we move out to new apartment.

Very flimsy design. One side latch at the bottom was found broken when received. If the screws are tightened at safe limits, door would not close because the top end bends. There is no fix for this and over a period of time, the screws will no longer hold it tight. Pretty poor material. Worth not more than Rs 500. Purchased seeing so many positive reviews but it simply not meeting the requirements.

Received product within 2 days of ordering. Packaging was very good. Highly satisfied with the product quality. The product was completely assembled and we could fix it to the door within 5 mins without any hassle. Product manual was quite detailed. Gate handle is sturdy. Before coming across this product I was thinking of getting a gate made by a carpenter to control movement of my small kid into the kitchen as it was dangerous and prone to accident. However this ready to use product helped me to quickly put the gate without disturbing my walls in my rented apartment and without any botheration wih a carpenter within minutes. A must have for all parents with young kids.

The product is sturdy. But the screws that fit into the vertical surfaces become loose and come off after a weeks usage

Extremely happy with the purchase. I always feared my child entering the balcony and trying to look down as our rails are not too high.As a result I would always keep it close which did not allow even sunlight to enter during daytime.Having purchased this gate. I have fixed it to the entrance of my balcony and it gives me piece of mind in terms of keeping my child safe and enjoying the daytime sun. The gate is sturdy and was fixed in a jiffy. Must have for all parents with young kids.

Works well, easy to install, I had to buy additional cup for fitting but it helped me to restrict my 3 year old Beagle entering kitchen all the time.
