I prefer Pilot Metropolitan Medium or Lamy Extra Fine , this Medium nib was was to much for my taste. but its butter smooth to write with. the beautiful nib and overall pen design i could just keep staring at it for hours. Its a tank solid metal construction. Another thing is the nib is short and i like that in a fat nib my handwriting is better with it.Should this be my first pen , nope I made a mistake and got this as my first. But its much of leisure pen which i write with some times as the weight is a bit on the higher side so you cant for long duration a few minutes should be fine.Overall its a beauty but i use it sparingly when i am in the mood. the medium nib on this has one ace up its sleeve it can show you the inks color variations and thats a joy to watch.Even my Pilot Medium and Lamy Extra Fine cant show those stroke variations of the beautiful inks that i own.If you are looking for a first pen please buy a Pilot Kakuno Medium or Lamy Nexx Extra Fine they are light weight wont tire your hand and have a nice thick grip which is much better to hold and write for longer hours. if you like thin grips like a ballpen or pencil go for Pilot Metropolitan Fine or Medium.Hope you find this useful. Product is good. I am satisfied with product quality. Box was broken. It works better with sheaffer ink. Earlier had been using parker ink. But results weren’t that good.

Hi, I received the pen in good condition. It is sleek, light weight and good looking. But I am not at all satisfied with the nib. This pen has 0.7mm nib which is too thick for a fountain pen. It leaves too much ink on the paper which could be seen on other side of the paper. In fact, the product description did not mention the nib size of 0.7mm.

The pen is heavy and lacks grip. I received a pen with fine nib without converter. I could not write properly due to pen holding area being of metal and super smooth.

Though the product is good, there was a big delay in delivery. It should be improved.
