oh bloodborne please dont end....
i dont want this game to get over. its by far the best game i have played. very frustrating and punishing but not impossible. i got used to it within few hours of playing. but i am an avid gamer. any myth stating that if you are not used to the souls series then this is not your cup of tea is really a myth. anyone can play it. but yes not casually. this game does not reward casual gamers who just steps into the action without looking left and right. it only rewards the true gamers with patience and a sense of appreciating its mechanics. beautiful visuals and atmosphere with jaw dropping music. i got addicted to it so much that in few days i reached level 81. bloodborne is different. anyone new who wants to try it go ahead. but dont think this is an action hack and slash. its a folk lore game. with patience this game will blow you away. ps i almost threw my controller on my tv today as i died 2 times back to back. but then i got myself together and i cleared the area. like i said patience and sense. there is no shame in getting beaten and dying. it only makes u stronger the next time u try to fight. this game makes u count every action u do. if you die its only because u messed up not because of game flaw. you really cant just hack and slash blindly like DMC or God of war. you create a window to strike down your enemy. it is a technical game that needs a strategy. sometimes heavy attacks sometimes light attack sometimes mixture of both. this game really wants you to respect your own actions and take it seriously. and it does that top notch. every time you go against a boss or any other mini boss or even a strong foe you have to spend first few minutes just dodging and observing what kind of attack your enemy does. you cant just start attacking. u study your enemy and then make your move. so its ok to die first few times against bosses while observing and studying them. bosses are quite tough in this game so you will have to know your enemy very well. but if you learn to lock and dodge then nothing like it. also sometimes locking makes it worse. so know your moves. for instance i was just few minutes back fighting 3 npc hunters at the same time in the story mode (yes you have no choice but to fight them together its a 3 vs 1 and fighting npc hunters in this game is much harder than the boss fight or i can say its like a boss fight but without the long health bar in the bottom. but you can try to lure them to you one by one and take them down. luring did not work for me in this case) and locking on any one hunter got me killed by other 2 hunters as i could only focus on one hunter and could not see other 2 hunters got close to me and kept killing me. so i decided to not lock onto any hunter. that way i was able to shift my focus on all 3 depending who is more closer to me to taste my beautiful upgraded hunter axe and i got them all. there are such great creative weapons in the game. damn nice. really what a breath of fresh air this game is. wow....... i will be starting the dlc soon. just wanna reach level 110 or more. as the dlc is quite tough from what i heard.

Best souls game played but its not hard as people describe this game to be
Bloodborne is possibly the best souls game among the other souls games created by Fromsoftware. Its environment, combat and boss fights make it a worthy game to play for all the souls veterans and even for new comers like me. Its not as hard as people describe it to be. Players have the choice to either grind for souls to make sure you can breeze through the game or you could make it tough for yourself and fight the same boss over and over again until you master it. I have been able to achieve the platinum in 24 hours of playing time and I believe you guys can do it as well. If you are nervous about this game as per other players' feedback you can always try Demons souls or Elden Ring as a start before trying this to make sure you get the hang of it.

10/10 perfect
Ok here it goes playing this game for at least 2 months completed it and on ng+.At the start of the game is unforgiving for someone who hasn't played any souls game it's tremendous but you get hang of it. After defeating 4 or 5 bosses you know what to do and after that grind and level up. Bosses well designed and although it doesn't have many weapons, every weapon has some purpose. Graphics are 10/10. Combat and gameplay 12/10, Enemies 10/10. And areas in this game is based on gothic themes (from purge theme city (gothic),forests with giant snakes, castles, churches, to realm beyond your imagination. 10/10 perfect game. Not easy tho but game will reward you for you not giving up with cool weapons arsenal and different type of tools(spells) and satisfaction of killing that boss.

Daunting and serenely beautiful. Life-changing experience.
Bloodborne is not for everyone. This was my first Souls-Borne-Sekiro title, and I found out that these titles do live up to their reputation. Once I'd got the hang of the combat, though, this game became one of the best experiences I've ever had. Go and watch the trailers. That's really how beautiful this amazing game is. If you like a challenge, pick this up. Take the time to master its combat, which by the way, is one of the most fluid, tension-filled, high stakes experiences I've ever had. You will not regret it.May the good blood guide your way.

Not as good as the souls games
Game is not as good as the souls games, very hard, unless you can find co op, you cannot progress much except if you have pro skills and patienceGame runs fine except consistent minor hiccups in most areas

Good game but way too overrated
Decent game, but gets overrated for being a fromsoft game. Plus its a PS exclusive so it gets 10x more hype. There are few aspects which live up to the hype. The music and the art design. The beginning stages in Yharnam, Old Yharnam, Cathedral Ward etc are incredible. But then you have garbage like Nightmare frontier, forbidden woods etc. The story is basically non-existent in the game. The community has basically made up "a story" from small lore tidbits in the game, but it is mostly just speculation and conjecture. Even when you compare it to the very low standards that video game stories have, it is just passable. The bosses in the base game look cool, but are mostly very simple in behavior and attack patterns. The hardest "boss" in the base game was the hunter from Eileen's quest and he wasnt even a real boss lol. The DLC bosses are all great though. In all, a fun decent game but not a life changing experience that fromsoft fans make it out to be.
