I have used it as a security purpose...and found it grt....as it can alert at night if any thief's try to get in....i have used a siren and a light to alert by using the motion sensor switch as it got two output...Great system ...my recommendation to everyone...The product is really amazing. Will purchase 4 more for my house.Very good purchase.the product was so good man ... I didn’t expect this much output from a very low price product.The sensor has good range. My house is very close to the road, so I had to put a cover on one side so that it won't detect the vehicle moving on the road. Now anything moving in the footpath (including dogs) and in my compound will trigger the light. The day-night adjustments work better than I expected. Perfect product for my needs.Good sensitivity works well in daylight.The timer function is very useful.

I installed 5 of these PIR in our staircase which is usually dark with varying degrees of daylight at different times of day. So I had to set luminescent setting (sun and moon in the device) to work properly. Will it detect all motions during all the time? No, it works only if the settings in PIR match the device 100% of time, during other times it might be either slow to react or not work at all.So it works best for locations with same of of light all the time like dark room to control light.I find the sensor works well even in odd spaces like staircase and my settings are at darker side, so the sensor works well at night and not so well at daytime as some ambient light does fall in staircase depending on the floor.Also I found this roof mount works well only on the roof, if you mount on wall it's range is limited.I don't know how it works on high ceilings and how far it can detect, as my usecase is only for staircase.

Not exactly great...There's no provision to pass 3 wires

The media could not be loaded. Good quality sensor with a good value for money. It worked well for me, I did multiple tests with detection range and the angle, it meets my expectations and need.Multiple benefits with single sensor.1. Energy saving - switches off the load (light) when not needed.2. Could be used for safety, some one enters the detection range, light is switched on.3. Could be helpful for elderly people during night time, they don't need to search for the switch, once they wake-up from bed light will be lit.Use case could be even more.I would recommend this product. Poor motion detection. Trouble started after 20 days. I bought 2 of such PIR sensors and feel cheated. You have to literally dance to detect motion. Better spend more and buy from reputed brand.Also it’s not 360 as claimed by the seller.” I would say you have to dance within 120 degree and within 1 mtr height to detect your motion. “ Seller may have to mention this in the product description

Looks like using a normal bulb just plug and playVery easy to install durable and perfect brand with economical way to automate home.

It's temperamental. Works well half the time and doesn't work at all in the other half. Despite being installed in three different parts of the house, each of the 3 units i have installed behaves the same. It's a novelty to play with, but once the initial happiness of seeing an automatic light has faded, you realise that this is unreliable and doesn't work as advertised. I'm the same place, on different days, it sometimes works and other times we are left jumping in the dark waving our hands trying to trigger it, and it sits there like it's dead. One of the sensors has completely died one week after installation, and other two are also acting sporadically. I cannot get a refund because I've already used them...it's not like they don't work at all, it's just they work only some of the time (i have played around with the settings, that is not an issue as the problem occurs on every setting). I have since shifted to using Zigbee PIR sensors and automating my lights with them. They cost more but work reliably. I would recommend against buying these motion sensors. Both the wall mounted 180 degree sensors and ceiling mounted 360 degeee sensors are similar in performance (i mean bad). Stay away from these and don't lose your money like i did.
