Melitta Anti Calc Liquid Descaler for Filter Coffee Machines and Kettles 3 x 250 ml

Well, not what I expected!!I went with the manufacturer's version to ensure I wouldn't mess things up. This is a European product, with instructions translated into lots of languages - except ENGLISH!The manufacturer's instruction booklet says read the descaler's instructions....but I couldn't. The booklet also says remove the the inner filter insert before using the liquid, which I did........and ended up with the fluid all over the kitchen floor. If you leave the lid of the jug on, you need the filter insert in place, to allow the liquid into the jug.So, on the side of the anti-scaler fluid, it has markings from 1 to 6. I guessed that each bottle therefore has 6 doses to de-scale the coffee maker. I used 1 graduation of de-scaler and topped up the water tank to the 10 cup level. After rinsing it through twice, for good measure, it seems to have worked.It would have been helpful to have the full instructions in English though :(....hence the reduced * ranking. Product works well, instructions really poor.
