Worth it
feels good. Clamp and mounting plate were very convenient. You need to go into your control panel and calibrate it first before using in game otherwise a full pull will = about 15%. No driver needed.

Handbrake works great for me and feels pretty solid and has great resistance also
The media could not be loaded. This handbrake which is ony for pc first thing when i received it i notice it was nice and heavy and everything is made out of steel and it took a lot of force to move the handle when it wasn't mounted on my desk yet and it pretty much was all together for me except i ony had to install the desk mount on it which was easy to do with the provided wrench.Than i mounted it on my desk and plugged it in which has a status light as soon as i plugged in the usb and went under were the controller control panel shows in windows and it shown up and was listed as a arduino leonardo which is a micro controller board that it has in it and it shows alot more buttons but that is normal because it's micro controller but it worked when i was moving it back and forth and you can see the rudder slider moving up and down and it moved nice and smooth and with great motion range.Than i tried it on my favorite pc drift game which is called overdrift festival and all i had to do is bind it to the handbrake in the game settings and it worked perfect which i was just using a controller and not my steering wheel setup cause i don't have room to use it at the moment but while using my right hand on the handbrake i was drifting around great with it and the range of motion it has and it was really smooth while pulling the handbrake each time that i needed to while having a nice resistance feel to it.Really i have no cons with this handbrake and it is my first usb handbrake for the pc so i can't compare it to anything else but at the current value i say it's a great value cause i always seen similar ones at a higher price and i can't wait when i can use my wheel setup again so i can use this the right way you can also either buy or make a plate so you can mount it to steering wheel setups to if you don't want want to use the desk clamp. But the handbrake and clamp works great for me i am happy with it👍

cheap hand brake was okay when it worked
This thing is constantly disconnecting from my pc making it basically impossible to use I guess I get what I pay for.

Functionally, I like it fine. Padding and mounting could use some attention.
Initial impressions...Using this handbrake in Assetto Corsa has worked fine. It has way more resistance out of the box than I was initially expecting. I'm still learning how/when to use the handbrake in-game, so it's hard for me to judge its performance beyond saying that it does work. I like that it has a good range of motion and has some height adjustment to it, though I use it at its longest setting.I only have two nitpicks. The first is the padding around the handle is super thin and I can feel the edges of the metal when gripping. I may try and wrap it with some leftover grip tape I used on my MTB handlebar extensions or maybe a paracord wrap. The second issue may be more or less of a problem for others and that is the mount. I have a cheaper seated sim rig, and the shifter mount didn't really have an add-on handbrake in mind. As such, the plate material available next to my shifter is on the thinner side and flexes while in use with the provided C-clamp. I'm planning on making a plate to adapt it to my shifter mount so that the handbrake will be solidly bolted on.The mount issue is going to be dependent on your setup, so it's hard to fault it. The grip could definitely be improved, however. So, maybe 4.5 stars in reality.

Rudder Handbrake
Windows detects it as Arduino Leonardo, which is interesting. In the game controller properties, there are a ton of buttons and axis readouts but the handbrake lever seems to be tied to the "Rudder" axis. Most racing games should detect this just fine. The USB cable is very long so it should be good in any sim rig setup. The cable connects to the handbrake via a 5 pin connector, not a type-B plug like most other sim racing products so keep that in mind if you ever have to do repairs. I wonder if I can wire up more buttons and axis to the Arduino board. The Lever itself is pretty strong. I may have to swap out the spring to something weaker, I feel like I'm gonna move my entire rig when I pull the handbrake. The handle part is just a thin foam sleeve wrap around the metal handle which is not very comfortable to hold let alone pull with force. Gonna have to think of a different wrap or somehow mount an actual knob.
