1,000 times better than hardware pliers
I tried needle nose pliers first to see if those would work (they were terrible). This tool is amazing! It firmly grasps pin bones and helps you remove the bone without having to damage the rest of the fillet. Makes preparing fish so much easier - this is an absolute must have tool for fish.

Fantastic quality made tool
Fantastic purchase!! Quality tool. Simple to disassemble and reassemble for quick cleaning. Makes pin bone removal super easy. Buying more of these as gifts.

Easy use for deboning fish
Living in Alaska for years we have used lots of tools to remove bones from salmon. This tool is the best ever.

Very effective
So far, these are the most effective tool that I have used for removing pin-bones from salmon. In my experience, some of the harder to remove pin bones break off when using the tweezer styles.

Great fish pliers
The pliers are perfect. I fish a lot, and Lingcod and rockfish bones are particular tough to take out. The pliers are heavy duty.

Recieved product. Doesn't work.
My fish tweazers don't work. The center gear is stuck and does not move. I'm a chef and work with fish everyday. This really bums me out. Was excited but so dissapointed because of the price point for the quality I recieved...

Handy tool for removing pin bones.
This is a decent little tool for removing those pesky pin bones, but honestly, a good pair of small needle nose pliers, work just as well.

The best I know
Very practical. The fish bones are clamped easily, precisely and firmly and do not slip out.
