This pan is one of my favorites! My daughters and I are all big Dolly fans so when I saw this, I had to have it. It’s wonderful quality - like I’d expect a pan that is this cute and works as well as it does to cost WAY more money. I’m looking forward to passing it on to my daughters some day! 🩷

Love this pan! Dolly and Lodge are a match made in Heaven. The pan is able to be used, but I have it displayed proudly with the rest of the cast iron in my house.

I’m personally not a fan of cast iron. I ordered as a gift and it was well received. Hard to clean and I’m told that is common with cast iron. What matters is the recipient likes it and says it’s her new favorite pan.

Gave as a birthday gift and had JOLENE playing on a speaker as it was opened-- was a big hit!! Pretty cute and functional as well!! I have a different Limited Edition Lodge that I have used for years so I knew it would be a good gift!!

The finish is rough, but that doesn’t matter, if it’s seasoned correctly it doesn’t stick.It’s heavy, making it an unacceptable choice for juggling.For cooking, the weight is IRON, this make it heat more evenly.“It’s too heavy for cooking!”Maybe for backpacking, where “every ounce counts!”But in my kitchen? Not at all!It's usually empty when I put it on the stove, and empty when I take it off.When I got it, I washed it really good with soap to be sure it was clean and ready to season.I put it in the oven at 350F for 30 minutes.Took it out, wiped it down while hot with lard, all surfaces. Then, “wipe the oil off” with a cloth or paper towel.THEN, I put the skillet back in the oven with a 1/4 cup of lard in it, while I mix the cornbread batter.Once the cornbread batter is mixed, I pour the hot lard into the batter, mix the lard into the batter, and pour the batter into the hot skillet.When done, the cornbread just turns out of this skillet beautifully!It’s an excellent cornbread skillet!😃Now it’s ready for a Christmas present for my daughter Joleen! (Named after the song, deliberately spelled differently.)

A great gift for anyone who knows of the song Jolene by Dolly Parton...which is like, almost everyone! All ages have enjoyed it. Very unique.
