Everything I wanted and more
I love this wallet. Easy to use. It has extra checkpoints that make you verify each transaction. Great audio that never gets old, (little Gameboy/digital watch beeps). I have big fingers but it is still easy to type when you need to. Fits perfectly in my hand. Great user interface that makes portfolio management easy. I've never had a digital product that has the battery that compares to this product. It is very simple though. The power is in the Ledger Sync side of the user interface. It remains to be seen how the value for your will play out over its life cycle but if you are storing your retirement in this product I would say definitely yes, the Ledger Flex is worth it. Great quality build and fast. My only complaint would be the storage capacity for apps, but that really is only an issue if you have an really diverse portfolio on many different Blockchains

Solid Direct Connect and Bluetooth
I was a bit concerned that there might be issues with the bluetooth on this model, but it has been very easy to connect even with an exterior case on my phone. Be sure to check that the factory seals are in place on the box. Product works as described and securely cold-stores crypto without issue. Now if only I had a lot of crypto to put on it...

The Standard
Could not love this more.Pros:+ Incredible easy to use+ Touch screen works well+ The feature where the numbers on the pin screen dynamically change is a game changing security feature+ Very well designed; it is lightweight and the perfect size; made of great materials (e.g., smooth back, metal frame)+ Love that you can put a picture on the front of it; that makes it blend in well with its surroundings and does not look like a cold wallet+ The app perfectly compliments the wallet, very easy to manage your assetsNeutral+ The storage capacity works well for me because I do not have a large amount of different coins, but I could see how it could run out fast for those who doCons+ No backlit screen

Excellent crypto wallet
Amazing crypto wallet. Could have a bigger storage capacity though. Works flawlessly.

My personal favorite cold storage device. Period.
It's a Ledger product. Ledger and Ledger Live (the supporting application) are insanely easy to use/navigate. I really like that I get an extra PHYSICAL method of protecting my data/funds. Without the physical device, anyone could learn/guess my passwords/seed phrases and still cannot approve any transfers or transactions. If you hold any assets and you DO NOT have your own 'self custody' going on, you are choosing to be vulnerable.I 100% recommend getting yourself your own cold storage device.Especially a Ledger.

Poor quality Bluetooth, ledger LOST my account during bootloader update
Physically feels great in hand and type in the screen instead of clicking through like on the Nano models. However, the Bluetooth is of terrible quality and continuously drops connection with the app, even after all updates. I purchased crypto through the ledger app on my Flex, which routed through through to coinbase. The transaction went through to ledger successfully, but then 3 days later, the flex needed a firmware update, so I updated it. The flex then wouldn't connect to the app at all so I had to reset it. I logged back in the flex with the same 24 word phrase I purchased the crypto on, but the account did not import. I now have no access to my crypto because of this malignant flex. Ledger support has not helped at all, claiming that it's my own mistake and entered the incorrect phrase. This is not possible, because I logged back in with the phrase successfully. Do not recommend!

Best for multi-coin and UX as of 2025, but that's still not great.
Ledger is currently the most well-known of the crypto hardware wallets, and has built out the functionality of its devices and the "Ledger Live" software better than all of the other providers. As a hardware wallet, it can access more coins / chains than any of the other offerings, and as the most well-known provider it has the best integration with various crypto and Web3 services. Their Ledger Live software will allow some additional functionality like in-app staking and some DEX swaps depending on the token. Ledger Live only works for some chains, however; for other chains something like a specialty browser wallet is required, though the Ledger does store the keys. The Flex is the first of their "second generation" hardware wallets, using e-ink and a touch screen rather than a tiny LED display and a pair of buttons, so it's a bit more convenient and easy to use than the older / cheaper versions. That having been said, this device isn't the most intuitive if you're not crypto-familiar; there's no standardization of interfaces between chains, for example, so how one chain performs a function will be different than how a different chain does the same function on the device. Still, despite such difficulties, Ledger remains best-in-category for UX and for the number of chains it can access.I get VERY frustrated by its short time-out period, which is not adjustable. Most Web3 activities take some futzing about and troubleshooting / exploring to do what you want to do, and the Ledger will ALWAYS time-out while you're working through things. Expect to have to enter your 4-8 digit code over and over and over and over again during a given session, especially if you're doing anything complex or new.Ledger's security is probably adequate, but they have received quite a bit of criticism for building in a "recovery" option which seems to compromise the full security of the chip in favor of allowing a remote recovery of lost credentials for people who are careless. It is not a fully air-gapped, deep-cold storage solution like NGrave; think of this more like a very secure form of hot wallet that tries to find the sweet spot between high security and usability in Web3 dapps.

Protect your investment
Needed something to protect my investments just incase I get hacked. Basic screen, but you don't need much cause it pairs with the app. Battery life is pretty good so I'd say it's a good deal for the money. Functionality is pretty easy to learn. I assume it has a large storage capacity but I only use it for a couple of coins.
