The carved wood stand is even prettier in person. The stand adjusts to multiple heights, and can rotate downwards to view a book from a seated position, in a chair or on a mat, or at various heights in a standing position. I am using it for an art book, which is perfect. I can leave it open, tilt it up or down, and turn all the pages while on the stand. Fantastic.I rarely write reviews, but the seller is particularly kind and I wanted to point it out! My stand arrived with a broken piece. I contacted him in Turkey and he was in constant communication, easy to work with, and quickly sent me a replacement part and instructions to make it all work. What a rare gem of a seller! Do not hesitate to purchase. The stand is highly versatile and the store and seller and incredible.

Arrived broken. Looks to be made of pine or other light weight wood. This would never hold a heavy book. Returned

I got this item for displaying big books, it is perfect. Some of my books are very huge and it holds them. Carvings are good, wood is natural, not fabrication. Overall very happy with this purchase. I recommend.

Product was as described. Quality of product is good. Functions appropriately. With heavy Bible's base could use a counterweight to steady. Moveable joints on stand also need tightening with wrenches to prevent movement when stationary. I still think though that it was an excellent purchase for reading and displaying large folio sized Bibles. My thanks to the manufacturer of product. I highly recommend.
