Works well, and is water resistant, good quality.
Haven't used for swimming but I reckon I could, as it doesn't lose its stick even in the shower (but does mean if you have hair it will hurt to remove!). Good choice of colours, good value for money considering there are 3, and does help relieve pain/ provide support. I find it starts to itch if I keep it on overnight, but I recommended someone else to try using it for an injury, and they kept theirs on for 3 or 4 days, so seems quite durable.

Good
Item is good I can’t say that it helped for the main purpose (shin splints) bought it for but it does work on supporting mine and my daughters ankle during dance so it’s good and worth it for that purpose

Sports tape
Love the colours and just as good as branded ones

Awful quality
I use physio tape a lot, and this just doesn’t compare at all, it barely sticks, sweats off and is noticeably cheap quality. Spend the extra and get proper tape. The 3 rolls I bought have gone in the bin

Stretchy along the length, sticks well
The media could not be loaded. I looked up online for suggestions on how to use the tape, and found some good video tutorials and advice. The first bit of advice is after cutting the desired length, round the corners. This helps prevent them from catching on clothing or hands. If you fold the length in two you can cut two corners at once. These was easy to do with aThe second bit of advice is to keep a cm or two as the start and end anchors on your skin. The backing paper was easy to tear in this preparation, the backing paper came of easily when placing the first anchor, and I was then able to peel back the tension length easily too. With one end anchored it was easy to apply some stretch and tension into the tape before it is applied and stuck to the skin. The final cm is then applied again without tension to get the best grip.I applied to my hairy leg, it adhered well, giving it a final rub to warm the glue and fully stick it down. It feels comfortable now, though some hairs are being pulled.

Comfortable to wear and supports well.
This set of 3 rolls (pink/beige/black) is great value for money (at £7.99) and good quality. They come with a basic sheet to show you how to apply to different body parts. The instructions say to round the corners but don’t explain why. However, this prevents the corners from catching on clothing and ripping off.The tape has marked/squared paper attached underneath and is easy to cut, shape and apply. The adhesion is just about right and stays on for at least 3 days if you don’t scrub at the edges. Each roll is 5m long and 50mm wide and can be cut into partial strips so that the sections of tape can be stuck around problem areas to provide best support. It doesn't really stretch across the width of the tape but there is a fair amount of stretch lengthways, which means you can tension the tape to change the amount of support it provides.I’ve had quite a lot of this tape applied by my sports therapist over the years and this is almost as good as the expensive named brands. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this to someone else.

Good Kinesiology Tape
This comes in 5m rolls and at £7.99 for 3 rolls at the time of review which is very good value in my opinion. It does not really stretch at all across the tape but there is a fair amount of stretch longitudinally meaning along the tape so you can tension the tape to change the amount of support it would provide. It says it can stretch 170% and I think this claim is fair.It comes with a coated paper backing and you cut it to length and then remove the backing to expose the adhesive side. It does stick well although I have also come across more sticky tapes of different types. In the image there is a very hot and sweaty looking person wearing the tape and I do slightly wonder if it might just unpeal in those conditions. I think it sticks better if your skin is smooth and just cleaned so it is not oily or sweaty as this would definitely impair the adhesive. It does say that you should not stretch the first few inches of the tape or the last few inches of the tape and I think that is very important in terms of ensuring a longer lasting application. I am a bit sceptical of the up to 5 day claim though. The tape is not especially likely to cause irritation but with all tapes there is some risk, particularly if you wear it over a longer period of time and it is generally better to trial some. I have found this ok and certainly no better or worse than others but everyone's skin tends to react differently so best trial first.I was between a 4 and 5 star review and gave 5 because overall this is good value for money and realistically as good or slightly stickier than some sports tape I have tried but not quite as good as some fixation type tapes that can stick better but do not have the stretch this tape has so are really for a different purpose.
