I tried another pure-sine inverter with the same rating which didn't work at all. I sent that one back and tried this model instead. I am pleased to report that it works perfectly. I'm using 2 110Ah 12V batteries in series and it can run my 2KW chipper/shredder absolutely fine. It is too early for a report on longevity but so far this looks like a good bit of kit.

very good unit, only slightly annoying thing is the fan is on constantly which makes the unit a bit noisey (used in camper to power tv) id prefer for the fan to cut in and out to control temp, but saying that it does what it says and works very well if you can zone out from the fan.

Only 750 Watt can be used constantly,over this ,thermo breakdown immediately.This is underpowered.

unfortunately will only run my 500W microwave for a few seconds, so I need a more powerful option.

I suppose durability is the only question hanging over this inverter, but it seems reasonably well constructed, which inspires some confidence. I haven't pushed it to its limit, and don't intend to.If they state 1500W continous I'd say 1200W remains after inefficiency wastage. For me 1KW would be the limit, and there are no problems at that load.

I use it to run household items from a 12v leisure battery during power outages. Used it to run a 500w motor with no issues. Also runs my oil central heating system.Unfortunately won't run my fridges or freezers (only 140w) not sure why.Seller was very helpful and quick to reply to any query.John
