I cannot take these pills, as they are listed as vegan, but contain a gelatin capsule. If you are looking for a non-vegan sleep supplement, these would probably work. Unfortunately, the listing is incorrect and they are not vegan. I've been a vegetarian for over 30 years, and am very disappointed that this listing is incorrect. I would not have ordered these if it did not state in the description that they are vegan.

This product with a strange name really helps me to go to sleep. It settles my tummy, relaxes my muscles and generally gets me drowsy and in a right frame of mind to sleep. I usually get to sleep in about a half hour after taking a capsule. However, the effect begins to wear off after about 5 hours and then sometimes I’ll wake up. I do not know if I just need a little bit more of something in it or not. It may last longer for others though. When I get up in the morning I wake up feeling calm and in a positive mood.The capsules themselves smell kind of like a vegetable garden. I like that they have natural ingredients and I am not taking a man-made chemical to get to sleep. I especially appreciate that there isn’t a lot of added other ingredients. But I am not a fan of the black color of the capsules. Who knows what they are colored with.I know the product page says it is non-habit forming but some people have found melatonin to be habit forming. But this product has such a low dose that it probably won’t be habit forming for anyone. At any rate I wouldn’t think that this product would need to be taken every night just on the nights one has trouble falling asleep.Overall, I think this is a good clean product that does what it says it will do. It definitely leaves me feeling better after taking it. I believe it is worth the price for a good night’s sleep.

If used as directed it will last one month. I would prefer they put in more capsules and/or use a smaller bottle (or a blister pack).The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not putting it on the bottom of the bottle!) is Dec 2025, so a little less than 1.5 years from now.The capsules have a light herbal (?) scent and taste, and are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. This says non-GMO and made in USA. The product page also says organic Valerian root powder and lemon balm. It also says there is a 30-day money-back guarantee, which is nice since Amazon doesn't allow returns on supplements.I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones.I like the ingredients list a lot. Especially the lack of fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements I know about refuse to. I generally stay away from melatonin since my doctor says too much can stop my own body's production of it, so was glad to see the low dosage here. The product page, however, says it is a half mg, while the bottle says it has a full mg. I really like this product, it does exactly as the listing says. I’ve noticed a positive change in my sleeping habits. I seem to be getting better rest when taking these at night, so I do truly feel they’re effective and working as intended. Great value for the money.
