Smells nice, not too strong but nice, got this to infuse in castor oil, like it very much, thank you

Note to all people who buy Omani and Somalian frankincense known as Boswelliacarterii and Boswellia sacra, and to those who are used to "hojari" frankincense from that tree. This frankincense is the species Boswellia papyrifera. It has a somewhat clear to tan/orange color and a citrusy scent. It is not the same as B. sacra and smells quite different, so if you know what to expect you will likely enjoy it. The resins from these species are different, and it seems some other shoppers don't know that and are disappointed in their reviews. Finally, mine came sealed in a better bag than what is pictured and smells quite nice with low heating.

I ordered several different resins from this manufacturer.Stay away from the Dragons Blood and Benzoin.They use some kind of binder to fluff out the weight. A silver dollar sized chunk burned less than 30 seconds and smoked for about 3 minutes.Chemical smell, especially off the Dragons Blood which smells nothing like the real thing and more like a strong, cheap perfume.The Copal and Frankincense were fine.

What can I say? The Wise men brought it to a baby as a gift when it was valued more than GOLD.I use it as an offering to the Creator of the universe and I value it more than GOLD because of that fact.You can burn it with Hooka coals as I do and you will probably develop it into a habit due to the amazing smell.People will search for where the amazing smell is coming from and you can share your connection to the creator with his creation.The Arab's called it the tears of the trees, the INCA called Copal, the blood and tears of the tree's.How's that for wise men? It seems to awaken something deep within your being when you think of who was given it as a child.3 Wise Men can't be all wrong.Take it to the mountains and offer it and see what miracles the creator sends your way.Stay strong and live long,Regards,Nobody SpecialP.S. Burns and smells like petroleum products not tree sap. I had to spend the entire night airing my house out from the choking chemical cloying smoke that had no fragrance that I love and recognize

I just picked up an electric resin burner. It is great but it showed me that my old resin is trash. It would just turn black and not melt fully like the sample resin.This resin is opaque. It has almost a dusty look to it. But if you break open the clusters, the inside is clear.The scent is great and long lasting. The value is also great. It will take me while to work through a pound of this resin but when I do, I will definitely buy some again.

The odor of this resin is so calming and with the right charcoal you could burn it for hours. The amount of resin you receive for what you pay is fantastic, it shall last me anywhere from 6 months to a year. One caution, it will smoke enough to set off home fire detectors, so light it as far as you can from any such detector. I would recommend this product to friends and I will buy it again. Pure pleasure and depending on your intent for the use of Frankincense it it spot on.
