I’m really impressed with this set! They come in a sturdy aluminum box, which keeps everything organized and protected. The hole saw blades are super sharp— I drilled 8 holes through 3/16-inch mild steel, and they performed almost perfectly. Even after all that, the blades still seem sharp. A tip: use a bit of oil while drilling to make the process faster and smoother. Highly recommend!

This set of tools are great value, fast delivery and nice quality. Very easy to use, definitely worth every penny, highly recommended!

So far I have cut three different size holes and cut perfectly. Make sure the piece your drilling is secure because one moved on me and broke a guide bit instantly but it’s nice they give you a hand full of extras.

This is one of finest quality tools I have ever purchased.

When cutting wood, it files up the bit so you have to stop frequently and clean the teeth. Used it to cut quarter inch mild steel and the teeth were completely gone on just the second hole.

I received this as a gift, but it was what I had put on my wish list. It has both good and bad.First the bad. I needed to cut a 1-1/2" hole in 1/16" mild steel. The pilot bit broke twice before I was able to finish the hole. After the 2nd bit broke I removed it entirely and finished the hole. There was enough of a groove by then that the saw didn't walk. I used a slow speed on my drill. Not a very strong bit.Now the good. The carbide tips are very aggressive and cut the steel nicely. This will probably be exceptional for wood and plastic.I'll have to see about that later on. The bit was easy to replace, and there were five replacements in the kit. The aluminum case is very nice.My conclusion is that if I had a drill press I may not have broken the bits. Most of us don't have one, however. I'm somewhat satisfied because it did what I needed. I just wish that the bits were better quality. Next time I might try drilling the pilot hole with a regular bit first, and then use the hole saw. I have at least 2 more holes to cut in steel.

I have purchased several of these hole saws of various diameters. They are by far the best I have ever used. They come in more sizes than your typical hardware store variety.
