These are a great alternative to smelly mozzy products. Lite one each night in the bedroom and only got bitten once in 2 weeks! (which may not have happened whilst in bed) I call that a win as I usually get bitten alive!!!!!

Came well packaged and arrived quickly.Not had a chance to try them yet and whether thy work on Scottish midges.

Bought to replace permethrin mosquito coils (from the likes of Mortein and Doom) which I find really irritate my eyes and throat. These incense sticks don't burn for as long as a coil and they don't come with a safety burner. They do catch quite readily and burn with a fairly hot ember at the end, dropping a very fine powdery ash as they go so they're best used with an incense holder or something similar to hold the stick and catch the ash.The scent is certainly not as unpleasant as the insecticide coils - hints of citronella are there but it's heavily masked by the inevitable smell of burning. We only used one of these during as recent trip as some of our holidayers started suffering coughing fits that we associated with the smoke from these incense sticks.If you don't like the smell of smoke, these won't be for you. If you have a sensitive nose/throat they probably won't be much good either. Perhaps try the Incognito room refresher. And don't just rely on one method to protect you from mosquitos. Consider getting some wearable repellent as well.

Since buying this no flies around I recommend it

We find these really useful for travel and always have a pack with us. The smell is lovely and fresh, and an extra protection for evenings sitting outside wherever you are if biting insects are a potential problem.

Works okay , still get bugs in just not as many.
