The plastic clips will break as soon as you trying to install. I rigged mine to keep on the ball swivel by drilling small hole through both side of the plastic and put wire through it so it do come off easily. The shock is good but the plastic ends are terrible. To much hassle to send back so I designed a way to make them stay on. I'll buy a higher quality set when these fell

Fits a 2017 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x perfectly. Easy installation, use the pictures on this site. It doesn't come with instructions. The Hydraulic rams on both sides lost one of the inner tabs that lock onto the ball socket joint. But, they still locked on and seem to be functioning just fine. It will open your hood a bit wider than stock which is nice. I wish I did this before I replaced my valve covers! We shall see how they hold up through winter. Definitely worth the money. Great upgrade!

These hydrologic struts are of good quality and lift the hood or bonnet with ease. Unfortunately the mounting points are made of cheap plastic that break very easily causing them to fail and fall off the mount causing the hood to fall causing injury. Fairly easy to install. Fit perfectly on Nissan Xterra 2nd Generation. I would recommend these struts if possible to upgrade the mounting points to a better material.

Seemed like a quality kit until installed. All 4 strut end fittings broke while installing, plastic was brittle.Had to order replacement fittings ( m8 1.25 pitch ) out of pocket. Will update when they arrive and I install.
