Helpful for muscle pain; packaging could be improved
Applying Magnesium oil 2-3 x per day seems to help my back muscle spasms – doesn't stop them but reduces the frequency and shortens them to just momentary. This brand is twice the size for a similar price to the market leader. Derived naturally from Zechstein deposits, not artificially created, so the claim is you get natural purity – I'm unclear of the veracity and ethics of this. Plastic bottle is protected in unmarked sturdy cardboard tube which is reusable. If you've not used Magnesium oil before, it's not 'oil', just a very concentrated salt solution (magnesium chloride) so it feels slippery but rinses off your hands instantly. It dries pretty quickly so leave it on your skin till you next wash or as long as you don't mind the slight stickiness so you can absorb as much as possible.Only drawback is the spray – seems to block or stick part way through using the bottle – rinsing it out sometimes helps but I often have to retain a spray from another bottle or resort to carefully pouring into my hand. Why does it need a spray? They're not recyclable either. Could the 10ml–18mg doses be delivered more simply by a narrow neck adaptor with a measuring cap? You have to rub it in anyway, so it's not like a spray avoids getting it on your hands. If you're considering or already supplementing Magnesium, you may find a little research around the synergy of Magnesium-Calcium–vitamin D3–vitamin K2 helpful. Calcium alone is unlikely to do anything other than give you a Magnesium deficiency.

Like the oil but pump mechanism needs looking at!
I'm sure the contents are good quality so I have no issue with that and I didn't find the oil at all stingy. The bottle is good & the new cardboard packaging is good too - no leaks. But the spray mechanism just does not work on my bottle! I have looked at it carefully & so has a friend, but when you push the spray to get a pump action nothing comes out. The only way to get the product out of the bottle is to unscrew the top and pour some out - which is a messy & wasteful way of getting to the oil. It is a good price and so not worth returning, but it would be helpful if this spray mechanism was investigated and rectified - unless I just had a rogue bottle!

seems decent saturation and quality
when i spray too much on it does tingle, suggesting it's a qood saturation and quality. i've used it on my feet when going to sleep and i feel good from it. i think it works to calm your sleep. it could also be a good placebo :) regardless a nice way to absorb a bit more magnesium

Okay I guess
So far I can't say that this is doing anything for me. I'm using it for fibromyalgia pains and also tried it for an ankle sprain. It's inconvenient to apply, doesn't absorb well and it tasted horrible, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly. Also make sure to only apply this with minimum clothing as it's very oily for a long time. While I can't say it does anything for the pain, it's a big amount and it seems to last for ages, so you'll have time to figure out whether it's helping you.

I recommend it.
This is a very economical way to buy Magnesium Oil, about half the price of the Better You oil. The only downside to this, as another reviewer has pointed out, is that the pump spray doesn't work well, so if you happen to have a Better You bottle still, keep it and refill it from this!I've been using Magnesium Oil for about a year. A lot of people report stinging or itching when first using, but I've never had this, possibly because I was already taking magnesium tablets, or because I moisturise on a daily basis. It doesn't feel particularly sticky to me, either. My body butter goes over the top, so I never think about it after that.Whether it is effective is always a difficult question for the consumer. I take it mainly to help my bones (I have osteopaenia) and to stave off migraines. For the former, I shan't know until my next Dexa scan, although I understand these are unreliable anyway. I did fall over recently and didn't break anything, so that's a good sign. For the latter, yes, I think it works, and it's a good way to increase magnesium intake without the added nuisance of diarrhoea. So, on that note, yes, I recommend it.
