Review from husband :If you’re just looking to reduce your gut by an inch or two, this works really well. If you’re expecting them to do more than that you may be disappointed. It’s a bit hard to put them on (def step into them like pants, don’t put them on over your head and shoulders!) but once they’re on they are pretty comfortable. I wore this garment recently for working and my posture was improved, and my usual “muffin top” was reigned in. I will recommend size up. Overall a great product , love the material the package very secure and clean.

Fits alright, made me look slimmer for a wedding. Was hard to breathe at first and had a tendency to slide down. The metal bars in the tight elastic did improve my poster though. I look nothing like the pic on the product

It does nothing for the front part of my stomach. I'm a small guy with a little bit more stomach fat than I would like. It doesn't make my stomach appear any smaller. My shirts doesn't fit any better.

Easy to put on but if not up high enough the plastic rods will dig into your skin. Also it definitely don’t hold in your stomach as in the video.

My husband had major abdominal muscle surgery to repair a postoperative ventral hernia. Surgical binders with Velcro were too cumbersone so he wore these which have been important to maintain extra support for protection of his abdomen as he exercises to rebuild muscle strength. They have been laundered multiple times and are still comfortable and have good elasticity. We do not use the dryer. No pills or tears or overstretched areas. Nice quality. And it provides a level of confidence in having support when exercising.There are some embedded plastic vertical supports (like in turkey legs) that help keep it from folding onto itself. Highly recommend these even though they are not technically medical devices.

My husband had a terrible experience that almost took his life last year when his appendix burst that culminated in a total of 3 or 4 surgeries to fix mistakes made during the initial surgery and ignorance of what they had done. It ended with a huge gash needing to heal as an open wound. This lead to a huge indent where the wound closed. There was no muscle there, so he ended up with a hernia. He works a fairly physical job as a maintenance manager for a very large, luxury apartment complex. When he would lift things he would be in a lot of pain. I suggested one of these for men since I used a woman's version of a couple different types of waist trainers after my bbl and lipo. This type was the only kind I could wear over 24 hours without a lot of pain and uncomfortability. I purchased for him and it has helped so much to "hold him in" that the pain has mostly subsided during work.He's having surgery in a couple of months for the hernia, but this is helpful for him in the meantime.He wears a size 36 pants and a large shirt and the size large works fine for him.
