Effective Neck Traction
I recently tried out this neck traction device that you hand blow up, and it's been a game-changer for my neck pain. The device works really well, providing effective relief and support once it's fully inflated. It's comfortable to wear and does a great job of easing tension and discomfort. The only thing to note is that it does take a bit of effort to blow it up all the way. It's not a quick process, but once it's fully inflated, the results are worth it. The device is durable and maintains its shape, ensuring consistent support.Overall, this neck traction device is a great investment for anyone looking to alleviate neck pain. Just be prepared to spend a few extra minutes blowing it up, and you'll be good to go.

Takes stress off my neck
This neck stretching device is gentle and very effective. I do a lot of computer work and this allows relief on my neck by gently supporting and stretching it. I find that when the device is completely full of air, it slightly pushes my shoulders on either sides of my neck just a bit, and this feels amazing. I use this in the morning and before bed. a simple device that is well made.I like that after filling the device with enough air to your liking, you can then move the little ball in the tubing, allowing you to disconnect the pump and move freely at your desk, while watching tv or while doing tasks around the house. The material is a soft velvety material that is nice to have to add to the comfort level. Buy this to help relieve neck tension!

Gave me the relief I needed
I bought this when I had a pinched nerve in my neck and it was well worth it. I could only stand for about 5 minutes at a time before the pain would make me feel sick to my stomach and it was 5 days before I could get in to see the doctor. This gave me enough relief so I could stand and do what I needed to do.I did need to go through PT, but this was a lifesaver for me.I found it held the pressure nicely as long as the bb was in the right place. When you're done using it, it deflates and folds up nicely back in the box.

It worked
Works good I was able to inflate it enough for it to stretch my bulging disc in my neck, which relieved the pain enough for me to sit there and watch TV without my arms, falling asleep but the reasoning for not giving it five stars is the they go in front under the neck seem to be upside down. The soft part is pointing away from the neck, no matter which way you put it for the Velcro.

This thing works - my orthopedic surgeon and his wife use the same one!
When my ortho doc suggested I get a traction device for my neck to help stretch things out, I thought it was going to be one of those $200-$300 behemoths. NOPE! He said he and his wife and he's an ortho-surgeon! I tried it out and it's a gem. It's small enough decompressed that I can pack it in my carry-on to use at the hotel after a long travel day. What a life saver! The fabric is soft, it doesnt get hot, doesn't have an awful plastic smell after it airs out for a few minutes (I"m very sensitive) and it WORKS. Solid value.

Could not withstand inflation pressure suitable to provide therapeautic benefit.
I've been diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy from either a herniated disc, bone spur or both.Actively engaged in physical therapy, a home traction device seemed to be a good aid in my recovery. This item was inexpensive so I thought I'd give it a try.For the first few weeks I used it, I was unable to tell if there were any noticeable results. With subsequent use, I inflated the device in greater measure until I felt a more therapeautic lift of my skull and stretch of my neck muscles and cervical decompression. At that point, the air bladder inside the sleeve developed a leak at the seam. Now, the device requires continuously pumping the bulb to hold pressure, thus, it's no longer of any value.Did I over inflate the bladder or is it just unable to inflate with significant pressure to be useful?Thats impossible to say.Regardless, as mentioned early, it was inexpensive and worth a try.I will not be buying a replacement.I've opted for a more substantial device.

Simple device that adds a modality to neck pain
Typically don't write reviews but seeing this as a most often returned item isn't a fair assessment. This is not meant to eliminate your neck pain. That problem is usually much deeper in nature. This simply is a traction device to help stretch the neck out, maybe get the neck muscles firing again and in the process certainly can provide some level of relief but shouldn't be used to solve an entire neck or shoulder issue. It does exactly what it should. Having a large neck I was happy that it was able to accommodate the size. I happily kept this product.
