This control panel is the perfect replacement for my Masterbuilt smoker! It was super easy to install and has clear, simple buttons for smooth operation. The digital fan keeps my grill at the right temperature, and I love that it comes with the hopper lid and door switch—everything I needed to get my smoker running like new again!

The switches work great. The control panel is easy to install, and works pretty well. The issue I have with it is that it will randomly give an “Error 4” and stop heating until I press the power button. If I’m constantly babysitting it, that’s fine. I don’t want to have to sit there through a 10 hour cook, though. From my research, that means that the temp is below 150° and the fire is out. It did it 4 times in an hour while it was 350° and burning fine.

QualityThese are good quality replacement parts-- matching the OEM quality. They all work well.UseI had a lid switch go out on my gravity series grill -- apparently this is a really common problem. I was able to use the kit to replace the switch (I will keep the other two switches to replace as they go out). I also used the main control unit in the replacement parts kit. It doesn't support bluetooth but I never used it on this grill in the first place as I don't slow cook on it and don't really cook anything too large on it that necessitates using a probe for a long period of time.Final thoughtsThe items included in this kit are all work as they should and are good quality and I recommend them for any repairs (as long as you don't need bluetooth on the main control)

I’ve owned a MasterBuilt 800 for around 3-4 years now, outside kept. In the Florida climate, sun and humidity are a constant. At first, the door sensors started to go bad, which would not allow the fans to turn on. Then the AC power adapter pack became internally corroded. Finally, the control board started tweaking and figured it’s time for some replacements. The kit has allowed me to replace all of those and it is back to functioning properly again.I only received one probe when I bought the grill, so now having 3 is a plus.As others have said, this replacement board being non-wifi detracts from one of the main reasons I bought the grill, but I cannot deduct any stars since the seller clearly noted that in both the title and description.As long as the parts give me at least 5 years, I will be content.

The media could not be loaded. If you own a Masterbuilt 1050, you should probably just go ahead and buy this controller with additional parts and switches. You will eventually need all of it.I have a love/hate relationship with my Masterbuilt. I love the end result of my BBQ meals, but sometimes I hate the quality of the original OEM components.Although this controller is not wifi equipped like the original, the OEM never worked reliably on mine anyway, so I stopped trying to use it after the first couple sessions. Since it’s now almost impossible to find a wifi controller, I suspect I wasn’t the only one having the issue.This kit comes with a basic controller that installed in less than 10 minutes. Very easy! My original was working fine (well, aside from the wifi), but I noticed the membrane over the power button had cracked and it would only be a matter of time before I’d be replacing another original part.This kit also comes with three extra safety switches. This is smart, as they are notorious for failing (I actually ripped out and wired around all but one of mine).This kit also comes with its own power supply and two additional temp probes.This kit is not a steal, price-wise, but it is complete with extras and has worked perfectly for me since I installed it.
