What can I say? If you're a Bogey fan of a film noir fanatic, it's a must.

When you are a big fan of someone it's often with trepidation I approach a biography about them. As a big fan of Bogie I can thoroughly recommend this film. It has all the basic facts but also some wonderful insights from the man himself and those closest to him. If this is any guide, and I hope this doesn't descend to cliché, I came away believing I understood more about the person and the times he inhabited than the movie myth.

Followers and fans of HB will probably know the detail but it’s still good to see it all in a smart movie and narrated with HB’s own words. Even if you are not a fan, it’s still great to watch and to the capture a great period of Hollywood history

I liked “Bogart life comes in flashes” as it gave more of his background that I never heard before, as a Humphrey Bogart fan I can watch this over and over again!

Liked everything/ great acting / scenery and the re digital version amazing to think this film is over 50 years old

If you like history of old movie stars you will like this.
