I would recommend this as more of a starter set to see if you would actually like face painting. It has a great array of stencils to help cut back on time and keep things within the areas they need be. Comes with everything you need to try it out, even a basic "how to" booklet!

I ordered this for my niece who was having a small party in the yard with friends. We’ve never tried anything like this but it was fun decorating everyone. It didn’t come out great as we had hoped but that’s not the fault of the product. None of us have any artistic abilities. Find a neighbor with mad art skills and your designs should look awesome. The material was easy to apply. The kit included stencils so even if you are not a carnival makeup artist, you will still have some success. There were no skin reactions reported but a part of me wanted everyone to sign a waiver ahead of time. The world we live in… The images were fairly resilient. We don’t have a pool so I can’t speak to use around water. Even though they lasted very well on skin, we did have to remove a few that we had to do over and the image came off easily with some wet wipes. Unless you have a hundred people, this kit should last you two or three events. All things considered, it was a nice addition to the day’s festivities.
