Awesome E-Bike, but has a few issues.
The media could not be loaded. First off, I LOVE this bike. It is well built, fast and truly beautiful. It came almost assembled out of the box, only had to install the front wheel, handle bar, pedals and headlight. Why this bike is awesome: Fast, Beautiful, Gears change so cleanly, Brakes seem strong, The controls are easy to use, Not too heavy for an E-Bike, rideable even without the motor, the battery seems to last a long as advertised, the tires are big and able to handle off road trails if necessary. It is an amazing value for $899.The few things I don’t like so far: The seat is way too hard for a “Commuter” type Bike. The speedometer works intermittently… seems to stop working when at speeds over 16 mph, the included charger takes six hours to fully charge the battery from zero. All in all, I love this bike. I just took it for a 16 mile round trip up to our local National Park and made the video at that beautiful local. Since I can’t drive a car, I had not been able to visit the Park for over ten years. This bike cruised up the hill, I pedaled a bit to help on the steeper hills but it was an awesome ride and it got a lot of looks from the people at the park.Get this bike at $899 and you have stolen it. It is so well built and worth so much more. Thanks for reading, friends.

The most fun I've had on a bike, ever.
Alright so full disclosure, my driver's license got suspended and I was looking into other methods of transportation when I came across electric bicycles. I did a little bit of research and decided to go with the black hiboy cuz I like the look of it and its pretty well reviewed on YouTube. I just got it in the mail yesterday, assembled it and rode around for about 10 miles in the city today and I gotta say. I love it. I'm not in the best of shape, but this is definitely gonna make being more active less intimidating because I hate going for a ride and then slogging it back when you maybe go further than you meant to, but with this you can lazy peddle and cruise your way back. The top speed I hit was about 24mph on a flat straight road without peddle assistance and its a little scary when you start going that fast lol but its definitely fun. You're not gonna just be relying on the throttle all the time though, I mostly used it for hills (which were basically a joke on this thing) or to get up to speed so I could peddle easily in high gear or when my legs got a little tired. Just wish they gave me a small tire pump with this $1000 bike.TLDR: Its like a cheat code for biking, but it is a real bike. I definitely got a workout today but it wasn't as taxing as I thought it would be for how far I went. Definitely recommend, if its just a toy or need it for commuting.

Best HIBOY Product yet!!!!
The media could not be loaded. My brother and I have been using HIBOY for a while now and this bike is the best we’ve seen so far. It’s a very powerful and fast E-Bike and perfect for my commute to work. This bike is just as good on road as it is off road. Has great suspension for those off road rides and can switch through 9 gears! The pedal assist saves me a ton of battery and I road to work twice without needing to charge. The battery comes out easily with 2 keys they give you. The bike is pretty big but is also a lot lighter than I thought it would be. If you wanna take the battery out to charge at home , you can and the bike will be a little lighter. I got mine in grey but the black looks just as cool! This bike goes easily over 20mph and the motor isn’t as loud like some other E-Bikes on the market. Awesome E-Bike and I definitely recommend. Worth every penny!

I regret buying it -- but it's OK for the price if you know bikes
EDIT: 5-16-23: I'm reducing this to ONE STAR after realizing there were several parts that were installed incorrectly from the factory. I had to completely take apart both breakpads and reinstall them as well as the front fork. If you want a bike that will force you to learn everything about how a bike works, maybe this is the bike for you. But I am really disappointed with the lack of quality control.I mainly got this bike because I would be able to easily remove the battery and bring it inside to charge in my apartment. I have the HI Boy Scooter for that exact reason and was excited to try another of their products. But the design quality ended up being a major point of disappointment. The battery is extremely hard to get back in without disassembling parts of the bike. The tire and front fork are in the way so you can't really position the battery the way you would need to to get it in place. It's super frustrating. I don't know how this design passed the QA/QC process at Hi Boy.Did anyone actually try putting this back in place before putting this on the market?I also don't like the way the accelerator is setup at all. It's a wrist trigger, but not like on a motorcycle where you turn the whole right grip. Instead it's a section that you turn with your thumb and forefinger, that forces you to move your wrist in an awkward way that makes it hard to hold on to the grip and have your fingers still over the break. There is also about a one second delay from when you engage the throttle to when it engages. Which is mostly just annoying but could potentially be a safety issue since you sometimes need to move quickly to get out of danger.
