I bought these because my wife broke her ankle. There were other folding crutches on amazon with WAY more reviews but when I looked closely they all seemed to have some design faults. This set only had 2 reviews but the mechanism looked better and they took returns. After receiving I was pretty impressed with the construction and the mechanism as it was sturdy. Truthfully they are a bit of a pain to get to the folded position so I wouldn't want to be doing that often but it will great for storage. The arm pit pads are a little skimpy so we got some washable cushion covers for those which you can see in the picture.

Crutches are very nice. However, not for anyone 5ft 10in or higher.Reason is, hand grip doesn't extend down far enough. Look closely at display. Right arm is normal, left arm is at chest, not under arm pit as should be. Cannot use unless fully resting under arm pit due to balancing issue.I discovered "hard way", it's like balancing on a unicycle. Lol

Durable and strong. However, the description said it is adjustable to people up to the height of 6’7”. I am 6’2” and when they are extended to the 6’7” marked height, they only go up as far as my elbow. So I am returning this item for false dimensions.

They are exactly as advertised. Took me a minute to figure out all the adjustments, but once I did, they fit perfectly.

It does not fold, it compresses and it will extend to 6'7" I'm ok with that.

Haven't gotten past the assembly part yet. Something is off a tad, which prevents the lock pin from engaging fully by the hand grip. It's in a location that even if it didn't lock, it wouldn't prevent it from being used.I decided to dremel out the holes instead of ordering another pair.Room for all kinds of adjustments! Great concept and an excellent buy, if you don't need to play around with it to get it assembled.

We have six active kids who do a lot of sports, so we are unfortunately no strangers to crutches. Saw these available and figured it might be nice to have a pair on hand. Thankfully don't need them currently, but because these fold down so well they are really easy to store for when we might need them. Seem comfortable enough as crutches go from our small test walk-about. Nice for us to have in case we need them!

Product description plainly states that these crutches fold for easy storage BUT they do NOT fold, which is the precise reason we bought them!!! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they are light-weight and easy to assemble. Since they do not fold, to be able to use the advertised “smaller storage space” feature, you have to disassemble the crutches into 2 pieces…it’s not difficult but lets say you’re going to the movies and you arrive after the lights go out, trying to do this in the dark, then it would not be.
