When I first received this I was not impressed. It did not seem to heat anything so I decided to return it . But, my husband being the one with more common sense, suggested that I try giving the item a chance. That perhaps I was not using it properly. Much as I hate to admit, he turned out…..yet again…..to be right! Seems the problem was with ME and NOT the item. It is important to note that the temperature settings are very sensitive so one must be careful not to touch it once the warmer is turned on. Which is exactly what I had been doing. More the reason why nothing was staying warm.Well, once I figured it all out, was I impressed!!! And glad that I had held off on returning it. I LOVE this thing! I plug it in, set the temperature to the highest setting (I like my coffee to stay as hot as possible) and set the ceramic cup (comes with the unit) with my coffee on it. The coffee stays hot from start to finish. Even if it takes me a couple of hours to sip it slowly.I’m not sure how long this gadget will last but I plan on getting another one the minute it stops working. Having gotten use to it now, I really wouldn’t want to be without it! Even my thermal cups couldn’t keep my coffee as hot as this warmer does.Don’t take my word for it. Give it a try yourself. I think it’s definitely worth the 20 bucks! Highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this little cup warmer! I brought this cup to keep my coffee warm in my office because it seems like every time I make a cup something takes me from it! With this warmer I can walk away and still come back to a nice , hot cup of coffee!!It is very simple to use. There are 3 temperature settings, I use the highest setting. There is an automatic shut off so no worries if you forget to turn it off. Another plus is how nice the set looks. It looks so sleek and professional. I must say it looks amazing on my desk. It’s the perfect gift for coffee lovers!!

Anticipation high, I unveiled my prize... and blinked. Then blinked again. The heating plate wasn't just not 4.8 inches, it looked suspiciously like it might actually be smaller than the 3.7-inch weakling the description openly mocked! I grabbed my ruler (because who doesn't love doing unpaid QA?) and confirmed my fears: this thing's heating zone was indeed playing in the minor leagues, significantly under the advertised size.My specific mug, the entire raison d'être for this purchase, now sits beside the warmer, casting a long, cold shadow of judgment upon the diminutive heating circle. It's less a 'warmer' and more a 'slightly tepid coaster of disappointment.'So, about that "fits 99% of cups" claim? I can only assume they're referring to espresso demitasses, shot glasses, or perhaps the thimble collection market? Because it certainly doesn't fit the mug I needed it for.Sure, it comes with its own 12oz mug, which, presumably fits its tiny designated spot. That's nice. But I didn't need another mug. I needed a specific warmer. Thanks for the extra dish to wash, I guess?Bottom line: If your favorite mug is roughly the diameter of a silver dollar, step right up! For everyone else who believed the specs, welcome to the club of the slightly-less-warm beverage. Thanks for wasting my time; my coffee and I will be over here, bonding over our shared coldness.

Keeps my tea hot and just for fun I tested to see how long it would take to heat up a room temperature filled cup. It did surprisingly well, but realistically i just wanted it to keep my tea warm when I sit down to relax after work. It does a great job at what it does, and so far I've experienced no issues.

Bought this as I do need a coffee cup and a warmer as I'm tired of my tea or coffee going cold, and the price is right (well under $20). It arrived, and it's nicely packaged with the cup matching the warmer in color. One minor quibble is the warmer won't remember my temp setting. The warmer has multiple temp settings, but every time you turn it on, it defaults to the lowest and you have to turn it up. At least it's a simple touch that brings it up. I start with boiling water, and it does keep it warm when my other unheated cup had gone cold. Overall, happy with the purchase except the lack of temperature setting memory.
