Solid, inexpensive device.
I got this as a CoViD-19 screening tool for use in a non-clinical workplace. It’s inexpensive, repeatable, and adequate for this purpose. While it might be great for a person or family, I’m not using it anymore at work because:- I became concerned about disinfecting between uses- People who smoke or have certain lung conditions have low O2 sats normally, and that created noise in our screening process. If it helps anyone to know, we are now using a touch less infrared temp scanner at the clavicle as our sole entry screening method.

Not bad for measuring, accurate to 1% + or -
This is your typical made in china oximeter but for corona virus patients it could be helpful. It works by shining a light I think through your skin to determine the oxidation level. It should give you sufficient warning in the event it falls below 95% and you need to see a doctor. For my baseline it was usually within a 1% range while testing. Make sure to leave your finger in the slot for 20 seconds before testing to acclimate it.

Easy to use.
I received a pink Pulse Oximeter.I was surprised that the screen changes inclination depending upon which hand and how you hold your hand. It's easy to use and reasonably quick to display.Be careful when inserting batteries - the spring doesn't necessarily go to the negative end of the battery - follow the picture on the bottom of the compartment.Very happy with purchase.

Good to watch for COVID problems.
This is fine to let you know if you are having major changes in your oxygenation and pulse. Is it completely accurate probably not. However, if you want to know if you are getting into trouble this provides a pretty consistent baseline. It is inexpensive. You need a magnifying glass for instructions. The batteries alignment is a bit strange so check that carefully before thinking it doesn’t work. This is not for really acute problems.

must have right now
Came with batteries. Put them in and it worked like a charm right from the start. Tried on a couple different people and it works great. I am not sure how much these normally cost, but even at $40, it is worth it for my peace of mind. A must have in your home right now to monitor for Covid 19.

Better quality than the price suggest
I read lots of reviews both positive and negative. I noticed that the positive reviews were written by nurses and other people working in the medical field. That is what sold me and while it took a while to get here I'm very satisfied with this product. I can check my pulse rate with a blood pressure machine that I have and it is spot- on. My room air oxygen level is exactly the same as it is when tested in a doctor's office so don't believe the negative reviews. is a highly accurate device and I recommend it. I have also noticed some complaints about poorly written instructions if you need instructions to use this device then your oxygen level is not your primary problem

Easy to use
Super easy to use, heart rate wise, I tested it against my Apple Watch and either get the same numbers or sometimes 1 digit off (but that’s close enough for me) I got one for my mom who’s close to 70 and has diabetes so she can test herself In these covid times, and she has found it easy to use also.

The reading number on the meter is upside down
The reading number on the meter is upside down if you straight your finger unless you bend you finger towards you which will affect the result Slightly. Since you bend you finger which will Cut off your circulation a bit therefor the number is lower than the one when your finger is straight . The accuracy is slightly off . The range of my results is between 94% and 96% which I have never been this low . But anyway at least I have a baseline on this meter. I still think it is worth to buy .
