Simple and reliable
This product was easy to setup and the charge lasts for multiple rotations of the primary wheel. It has 15 feeding slots before required refill. The fish adapted to the feeding method within 1-2 feedings. Vacation was a breeze!

Great for bunnies on a diet, too!
The media could not be loaded. Pretty neat! I am actually going to use this as a feeder for my bunnies pellets when on vacation. He is overweight (not the bunny in the video) and gets 1 tsp of pellets twice a day. I could not find an automatic feeder that fed a 1 tsp portion and had at least 14 feeds. This is perfect and simple. Each little compartment fits pretty much exactly 1 tsp of pellets.

perfect for feeding fish when you are away
I bought 5 for all of my aquaria. 15 slots are provided and you can have more than one slot opening during the day or on days of your choice. Worked really well - I used them for 12 days and all of the tanks were appropriately fed.

Only a few days
So it works great and easy to use. If you have very specific amounts of food to give in only ten days then it’s great. I think it was ten can’t remember as it’s not used often.

Wonderful functional design
I service high end aquariums for a living and have tried lots of off brand equipment, most of which is junk. This feeder is fantastically designed and easy to use. I was very impressed with the trap door that stays closed until the feed is dispersed. This should help prevent moisture build up as well as keeping the food from getting splashed from aggressive eaters. If it lasts a long time, I'll be switching from the brand name feeders and exclusively using this. The price of about $27 is less than my wholesale cost of a big brand named feeder.

Only works from the outside…
Maybe I’m an idiot. I would generally consider myself pretty smart, but I had looked at about 30 feeders by the time I settled on this one, so my brain was a bit frazzled. I ordered this in January to feed my cichlids for a trip in April. I figured I’d mess with it at some point and then kept forgetting. I finally just sat down to figure it out since I leave in a week. I was under the impression that this could be mounted to the side of your tank with the bracket OR suction cupped upside down inside your tank lid. That’s why I bought it. My aquarium has a full glass lid system because my fish will jump out or my cat will jump in. I cannot use a bracket as that would mean leaving the lid ajar. I was planning to stick it INSIDE/under the lid. However I now see this will not work. It will mount to the side OR suction to the top side of the lid, but it dispenses food from the same side as the suction cups so you have no choice but to leave your lid open.So now I’m left with what to do. Throw this one away and look for another? Leave the lid open and hope the fish don’t jump out and the water doesn’t evaporate below filter level before I get back 18 days later? Ugh. Use my misunderstanding to help you! If you have a similar issue, look for another feeder.

Easy to set and clean. Works.
Not gonna lie this feeder is probably the best cheapish one I have had. It even keeps flakes from rotting. Easy to configure and clean.

Best feeder on the market
I have two of these. One I use for my betta tank at my office. I feed once a day, and the battery needs to be recharged (which happens fast) every 2-3 months, recharging at about half battery. What I love about this is is allows for very accurate portion control with the compartment. The downside to the compartments is that you can only get 1 week of feeding twice daily, 5 days of 3 daily feedings, but over 2 weeks with daily feedings. The compartments also allow you to mix multiple types of food (if you need to feed an algae wafer every week, it is easily done). It has been perfectly reliable, and is the best auto feeder on the market for the money. Cannot recommend enough.
