Smell is gone
i bought a car for my daughter as a new driver. After they filled the air conditioner, a horrible smell occurred and lingered. After it being investigated by a garage who stated they would sell the car. The dealer who found nothing wrong. I investigated online and found a common issue with water being trapped causing mold and smell in the evaporator. I bought this product and followed online instructions. It was easy, showed LOTS of nasty stuff come from the cleaning. It has been months and no return of the smell, Worth every penny!

Works wonders on your smelly AC system
I recently used this on my 2000 Camry and it worked like a charm. There are videos you can watch online that explain the process used for your model of car, they are likely all similar except for how the AC/fan controls are set. For mine, I placed the end of the core cleaner hose into my evaporator drain hose and dispensed half the can, waited 10 minutes then allowed it to drain for 10 minutes before repeating a second time (bottle completed empty). For the cabin refresh, crack your interior windows to allow the cleaner smell to dissipate from your interior during the treatment. It is recommended you turn your AC on, select outside air (not recirculate), turn the heat on and choose passenger air flow (the symbol looks like air blowing at the passenger's head) and dispense the product into your cabin/blower motor's intake for 45 seconds. You then keep the same settings but instead change the air flow to the floor vents and dispense for 45 seconds again. My bottle ran out at about 30 seconds so I continued the treatment using Lysol (which is commonly used by others as a DIY way of doing this). I then dispensed the Lysol again for 45 seconds on the defrost air flow setting. Afterwards, I left my car running for about 10 minutes to continue running air through the system with the AC turned off to dry things out. Afterwards, your car will smell like there's a really strong air freshner inside it, especially when running the fan. TO KEEP IT SMELLING FRESH LIKE THIS, RUN YOUR FAN ONLY (NO A/C) FOR 10 MINUTES AFTER RUNNING YOUR A/C BEFORE SHUTTING YOUR CAR OFF. This drys the system out and prevents the ickies from growing in your system in the first place :)I'd buy the kit again, although now that I have the dispenser line from the evaporator core cleaner, I would probably just buy a bottle of core cleaner for this and use Lysol in the cabin blower intake.Cheers!

Works well, strong chemical smell after
The coil cleaner worked well. I used it on my 2009 Nissan Sentra, so the tip didn’t create seal. I wrapped electrical tape until the diameter was slightly bigger than the ID of the drain tube. It created a seal and worked great. There is a strong chemical smell that is supposed to dissipate. My AC is blowing stronger and colder (the new cabin air filter probably helps too)

Didn’t work for me on first try, but could possibly work for you
My truck was not equipped with a cabin air filter, so eventually the evaporator coil got a buildup of gunk over the 20+ years I’ve had it. Over the past few years I began to smell an odor like mold/mildew. I read a few online forums that explained what was happening and realized I was making things worse (at first). Basically, I kept my AC on recirculate because I thought it took the cold air in vehicle and made it colder… Well yes, and no. Yes, its designed to aid in cooling the vehicle faster, but not to be used in that mode continuously. Because I kept the recirculate button on the condensation didn’t have a way to dry out. That moisture mixed with the accumulation of debris on the evaporator coil caused a toxic hazard area inside my dashboard… Needless to say I replaced all of the effected parts and then applied the AC clean again and it worked as described. Note: Turn off the recirculating feature after vehicle gets to the desired temperature, and ALWAYS turn it off several minutes prior to turning the vehicle off to prevent those stinky odors from accumulating in the first place.

Works Great!
It works great. I recommend using half of the large can and wait 15 min to use the other half.

Works great
Very effective at removing the musty smell. It was easy to apply. Lots of the videos online say to spray it into the drain tube from the evaporator coils below the vehicle. I found it easier to remove the blower fan under the dash, and run the tube through the duct to the evaporator coils. That way I didn't have to lift up my vehicle. I was able to stick my phone into that duct to take a photo and see that the foam covered the entire evaporator coil surface.

It just works! Completely removed strong musty odor from air conditioning
I have a car I was considering selling because I could not remove the strong musty smell from the air conditioner that was soaking into the seats and carpet. One use and it's all gone from the a/c. The smell from the cleaner is quite strong, but after two week very little is left. I could not find the a/c condensation drain line so I removed my cabin air filter and fed the hose down that path as far as it could go.
