I wanted to recreate a Freddie Krueger look for my halloween costume, I wasn't sure what to use and I'd been looking at all different products with mixed reviews. I came across this one that was reasonably priced with a couple of good reviews so I decided to purchase it.I basically just used the tool to apply clumps/streaks of wax to my face, fixed with translucent power (the wax matched my skin tone) then with a small paintbrush added some of the blood.It lasted a good 4hrs (that's just how long I had it on for). I used a wipe to get the thicker bits off then just used my usual makeup remover for the rest and it came off really well.

Didnt get the spatula with it.

Really useful having three in one as it meant I didn't have to buy extras. Its also useful as there is no need for huge amounts of blood which is often what you get. The tool is substantial and solid so will not need a replacement for next year. It has a 'professional' feel to it and I have already created a few scars and had a go at it in preparation for Halloween. The skin is better than the OTT latex I have used in the past and although blood usually remains a little sticky on the skin, this has a good solid red colour much more in keeping with actual real blood. You could do a lot with this and the skin itself is great on Caucasian skin. On darker skin, a simple mix of a foundation or bronzer would help darken the material or you could sprinkle this on afterwards.

So that's good right? The ideal being you use the wax to create a wound (gouge) then add the blood gel to finish off the illusion. There's plenty for making multiple small scars, or perhaps a handful of larger wounds? I tested both products, then wash it off using soap with no issues or irritation for me.The applicator tool is made out of steel, with different shape ends so you can shape the wax as desired. It's a good size plus also easy to clean.NOTE; When I applied the wax it literally vanished on my skin tone so I'd like to consider the advertising is based upon people with very white skin tones?At the time of this review, £8.99 delivered.
