Variety of sizes and materials are great. Braided sutures are fantastic for practice. Many of the monofilaments maintain a curl reminiscent to the packaging, making them more awkward to use when tying.

Good suture variety for a great price
I liked the variety of sutures in this set. The sutures also had a lot of thread on each needle so students practicing didn't have to keep getting new ones. Great suture set for practicing with a class. Can see the difference in the different types and sizes of sutures. The cost was good for the amount of sutures included.

I'm not a professional but these seem to be as good or better than other brands I have tied in the past. They work good to use on animals and I even keep a few in my first aid bag in case of an accident while hunting, fishing or just outdoors where we are hours from an ER.If you do purchase these get 2 packs and something inanimate to practice on, you don't want to have the tools but lack the skills in an emergency.
