Everything worked as intended!
This is the first unit I ever used of its kind. It is simple to set up, held up to the abuse I put it thru, and melted everything I put in it from steel balls to gold jewelry. Definately worth the price thank for the quick delivery!

Great item at a great price.
First timer starting up, this is perfect! *Note, you need to treat the flame resistant wool with a solution for safety and longevity. Seriously, that fiber can harm you if you don't use proper protection. Over all, totally worth the investment.

Gas Melting Furnace
Nice size for the beginner. It's easy to use and setup. It comes with a thermal insulating lining and hold the heat in well. Adding to it's functionality and gas savings. A good value for the money and a nice design.

Buy better gloves
This is my first furnace for melting cans so I’ve got a little bit to learn. I did learn one thing today on my first use, the provided gloves will not hold up to the heat. Everything else so far seems to work good. I would recommend this as a beginner’s setup (3kg model), experienced folks may want something bigger.

good product, works well
works great for melting aluminium and copper, kind of wish I would have order the 12kg size though.

It works
I bought this to melt aluminum cans. Assembly was easy. All the parts were in the box and they all work together well. They suggest you use the provided, heavy duty gloves when lighting the fire, but they're too thick to use with a fireplace starter, so I used my bare hand and ended up singeing the hair on my hand. Oh well. Subsequent re-lights were automatic because when I'd restart the gas flow, the crucible was so hot the fire re-lit immediately. The two sets of tongs to lift the crucible, and to hold the crucible while pouring work well. The crucible size is okay, but makes melting a large amount of cans, tedious. Initially, I can only put in four flattened cans... then 3... then two.. then one, as it fills up. So it's going to take me a long time to melt 3 years worth of cans (but that's my problem, not the furnace's). I've only done one melting session and I have to get better technique because there was a bunch of aluminum in the slag when I removed it. It comes with one small mold so I used an old muffin tin (sitting in a tray of water) and that worked fine. Overall, it works and I like it.

The thing works GREAT!
The media could not be loaded. I've used it a handful of times and I love it. Got a couple ingot molds to go with and it's great. Sets up super easy, everything I needed besides aluminum and propane. I started with aluminum with the first melt and went nicely. Next was copper and then brass. Hard to pour the big crucible into the smaller molds but very easy to pour into larger molds. The two tongs are an absolute MUST! I couldn't imagine pouring without the side hold tongs. I'd absolutely recommend this kit to anyone wanting to start hobby casting stuff. I just collect random metals and tos them in a bulk box and now I've got something to do with it! Get a box of fire bricks and you're all set to melt.

**Overhyped and Underwhelming**
I bought the Nelyrho 6KG Propane Melting Furnace Kit in August for some metalworking projects, but it was a huge disappointment. The furnace didn’t heat up as efficiently as advertised, and it took an unreasonable amount of time to melt even small amounts of metal. The propane tank connector was difficult to attach, and the tongs that came with the kit were poorly made and bent easily. After a few uses, the furnace started to show signs of wear, and I felt it wasn’t built to last. I expected better quality for the price, and now I’m looking for a more reliable option.
