Q: how well does this work for vulvodynia?

Not sure how it would work for vulvodynia as that pain is associated with nerves and inflammation...we used it for perennial tears after childbirth and it worked great...maybe you could research something called Emuaid.

Q: How do you use this along with the spray? Are they just to be put on before going to the bathroom? Or use both often to avoid discomfort?

I used the spray,let it dry, then applied the balm to my perennium. I had a pretty bad episiotomy, and the balm was really helpful in soothing the pain of the first few days home, and later soothing the itch as my stitches dissolved.

Vegans be aware: Earth Mama Angel Baby has changed this product's ingredients, name, & packaging. It's now "Earth Mama Organic Perineal Balm" and contains beeswax instead of candelilla wax. Depending on your timing, you may think you're ordering the vegan version but end up receiving the new non-vegan one.

Q: Is the jar supposed to come with a seal on it?

Mine didn’t. It wasn’t touched or anything. No deal between kid and jar but there was a plastic seal on the box
