Non-toxic hair color that works!
I’ve been searching high and low for the past 5 to 7 years for a permanent dark brown hair dye that is safe to use/nontoxic. I’ve tried a couple natural tint and something else. I don’t remember, and they took too long to sit in my hair and really didn’t cover that. I stumbled upon Seedbee and thought I would give it a try. I tried it and I absolutely love it. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since I first used it at first I was afraid that it would wash out within the first couple of shampoos, but it did not wash out at all. It stayed super dark brown after 2 1/2 weeks. My grays are starting to show so I’m going to use it for the second time. I used to use Olia, but it damaged my hair. I used it for years and now my hair is super brittle so I’ve been worried about how to color my hair without damaging it. I have a lot of very fine hair. I’ve combated the damage using Olaplex, which is great, but with this Seedbee hair color I can now color my hair without having the damage and I think it’s incredible! I’m actually stunned by how well it works. It’s like a dream come true from all the past damage. I was considering going all gray, but I’m just not ready for it. I only apply hair color to my roots and for my application of this hair color I had to use two of the color packets because I saturate it. The only problem that I had was that the powder didn’t mix very well, so for this round, I’m going to mix it in a wide open container so I can crush up any powder balls. I’m going to set the container in a larger container filled with warm water to make sure it’s at the right temperature to be activated. You only leave it in for 30 minutes compared to 40 minutes with Olia.My second round of dying went just fine. My roots are dark now. It was a little annoying applying the product because it’s a gel like liquid and drips if you apply too much. The bottle that comes in the box has a large hole for the dye to come out. I wish it was smaller to make it less messy and more accurate.I’m super excited about this hair color and I’m glad that this thread was started so that we can share our findings. Cheers to healthy hair!

Beautiful color!
I have been trying to grow out blonde highlights and go back to my natural color. I was using a demi permanent color which wouldn't cover grays and didn't last, I'm so thankful I stumbled across this!I was hesitant reading reviews that it was too dark, so I used 3/4 of the packet mixed in water.Smell is subtle and at about 25 mins I washed it out. I only did my roots and blended it down along the grow out toward the blonde. Next time I will use the full packet for my whole head or just halve it so I don't have any waste, it's not too dark!I have naturally dark brown hair with stubborn grays and red tones, and it looks so rich healthy brown now! I was concerned halfway through because it looked a red brown, but washed out it isn't. My grays are covered and ended up a lighter brown which gives it good dimension. I will absolutely purchase this again, my hair is soft and looks silky.

This is not a chemical free product as the manufacturer claims.
This product is advertised as great for sensitive skin, vegan and free from harmful chemical. Are you kidding? It caused major dermatitis for me. I colored my hair 7 days ago and I'm still paying the price. I had to consult with a physician and was prescribed 2.5% cortisone for topical treatment and oral medication for inflammation. This product caused my face to swell and my right eye has been swollen for a couple of days already. They only show you images of natural ingregredients on their website but you can't find the entire list. I've uploaded the list. This product contains p-Phenylenediamine sulfate (last word, 2nd line on list), otherwise known as PPD. That is a harmful chemical. This is such false advertising. I decided to return the product but I need to pay $4.28 postage to return it.

Surprised!
After all these years of box dyeing with harmful ingredients finally found a vegan formula that actually works! The gray coverage was perfect, the color is the same all the way thru! My only nitpick was the dye was drying on my gloves and flaking off all over the table but maybe it's my fault, a first time learning curve. Definitely will repurchase

Not irritating my skin.
Excellent product. Water base such a good idea . I wish was more shades light brown and blonde. I used medium brown slightly darker. No chemicals smell . At age 63 I developed some skin /scalp reaction and the traditional hair salon was impossible to use . This water base color was life saver will update again after washing more . Very happy so far will buy again. Checked on YUKA app and the ingredients are not harmful. Thank you.

Inconsistent and difficult to use... Mixed experiences
I was hoping this 3-pack would be a solution to my worries about using drugstore dye every few weeks to cover grays. While it seems to be much gentler, unfortunately that also means less consistency in actual coverage. The formula is difficult to mix properly, as the color powder does NOT dissolve easily, leaving the formula very clumpy and difficult to apply. DO NOT add more water than the line indicated -- I made this mistake on two of the bottles. I added a tiny bit more water in an attempt to try to make all of the powder dissolve, since it just sticks to the sides even with stirring (with a chopstick lol) and vigorous shaking. Adding even that tiny amount of extra water seemed to dilute the color so much that even after 40 minutes with it in my hair, it hardly covered the grays and I ended up with an inch of just blondish muddy hair at the roots rather than the black/brown.Only 1 out of the 3-pack was a successful attempt... I had to just revert to my regular drugstore dye to fix the insufficient coverage. I may try again, especially since this should be so much gentler on my hair than the chemical drugstore dyes and I've been experiencing a lot of hair loss over the past few years...

Amazing!!!
There are 3 separate packets. It is so easy to use. Just mix with the water. There is a bottle to put dye on my hair. After 30 min, my white hair is gone. Working good!! There is no weird smell. I will use this again!!
