I am very happy with this product. This bar is constructed very solidly. By itself, it weighs about 5lbs. I've read that the ends which grip the wall look like plastic but that's not true. PVC is stronger than plastic. It grips the wall firmly and will not budge. When you understand how to adjust it, it will support you effortlessly and provide many hours of exercise.I would easily recommend this to anyone wanting a secure and effective piece of equipment.

Helps stretch the body feel good when you’re done

My son needed an adjustable bar and this is just perfect for what we needed. Very easy to install and move to different heights, and it holds perfectly with his ~140 lbs.

The product looks excellent. Unfortunately, it does not work on my door. When I rotate the bar to add pressure, the wood frame begins to move in the direction the bar goes. I'm concerned that if I add more pressure, the frame may break. The instructions say that the bar does not work on hollow wood frames. I guess that's the one I got.I'm still giving the product 5 stars because the issue seems to be with my frame, rather than the bar.

I use this daily to strengthen my grip and work on pull ups. It was easy to install and so far the quality is impressive as it's only been a month. No damage to my door frame but it's unpainted oak wood so I can only speak to that. I'm a lighter weight person and must include that in my experience as to its efficacy. Only regret the bar is a bit large for my grip.
