Excellent
These are soooooo good. I absolutely fell in love with the world within the games and wanted more. So I bought this book series. They are small and compact, with beautiful front covers, and as all big book lovers can appreciate - they are the best smelling books I've ever encountered. In Stolen Throne you learn about King Maric and Loghain, as well as how Maric ended up with the throne. The friendship in this book was incredible. In The Calling you learn about Alistair's parentage, as well as how the Grey Wardens came back to Fereldan with King Maric and Duncan. In Asunder you learn about the mage uprising, as well as the back story of Cole.In The Masked Empire you learn more about the civil war in Orlais.I haven't read The Last Flight yet, but I'm very excited to learn about the Grey Wardens in a more modern setting. These are musts if you love the games, they are extremely well written, and make the games mean even more.

Exciting.
I’ve loved the Dragon Age series since the Origins came out. Loved to see what more they had in store for the Thedas universe. The gaps left from the games, the stories I wish were told are all complete in these books. (And comics even tho not included). When I found these existed, I was intrigued and they are (so far as I haven’t finished them yet) definitely up to standard. Love this world and I can’t wait for the next instalment!

Outstanding value
I've never played the computer games and discovered Dragon Age when I bought the tabletop roleplaying game book to add to an already unreasonably large collection of said items. Reading through that I quickly realised that - while not exactly unclear - the book would be much easier to follow if I had more familiarity with the background. I dismissed the games - not into that genre for video games - and looked to the novels. This package of five is truly superb value and while based off a computer game they are actually very good and I rapidly read them one after the other. They hold their own against most current fantasy series and I would happily buy any new ones that appeared.

A must for fans!
Not bad for the price. Couple of the books had scuff marks on them but they're still in good condition. Well packaged and arrived safely. Be warned, the text is VERY small as others have mentioned but still readable. Happy to have more Dragon Age in my life until DA4 arrives.

I'm at the second book so far but they are great. You can feel that David puts his heart and soul into his writing, a great addition to the overall Dragon Age plotline and keeps the usual atmosphere we've got used to with the initial game/plot. I especially recommend it to Game Masters who play the Green Ronin tabletop RPG, since it contains a fair amount of backstory, which is a great source for story telling in the universe.

I'm a big fan of the series so I can't help but love additional stories and backstories for characters that tie into the games.I haven't finished reading them all yet but so far I love them.If you're a fan of the game series and want to get more story that lead up to or reference the game series then you might want to try these out.Warning though: The Stolen Throne might give you conflicting feelings towards Lohgain...

Amazing
Though a wildly popular series, I find the written lore and subsequent stories severely underrated!!! These books are a must for fans of Dragon Age. The books themselves are well-bound, though I precaution that the text size is small. In all, highly impressed.

Amazing series!
It's the best way to fill the gap while waiting for the release of Dreadwolf! All set before Origins the books are fantastic and I couldn't put them down!
