Not that i am aware of. I weigh 230lbs and it works great.

Q: Should use be limited to one 15 minute session per day?

I previously had a pinched nerve in my back and was unable to get off the floor except for less than 5 minutes per time. I was like this for about a month and my joints tended to lock up severely. Because of this, i was unable to sleep was in severe pain. I started using the chi machine up to 4-5 times per day. This "unlocked" my joints and helped a lot.

Q: Does this brands vinyl padding hurt your ankles after long seas?

I find it very uncomfortable on my ankles but I just use a pillow between machine and my ankles and it works great and no more discomfort

Hello, thank you for your question regarding the Chi Swing Machine. Using the Chi Swing Machine in bed is not ideal, but it is possible with a bit of work. I have a paralyzed friend who uses the passive aerobic exercsiser in his bed. He uses a piece of plywood the width of the bed and about 12 inches in width under the Swing Master to make it more stable.
