Good value and improves listening experience.
Pros: Has a useful mobile app that you can select different styles and control volume. Has adequate base for my needs and bass can be controlled independently. It’s a compact size and a stylish design. It is very reasonably priced and looks more expensive than it is. Comes with optic cable included. Comes with a manufacturer 1 year extended warranty.Cons: no option to connect via HDMI, so I connected via optic but this has the drawback of not being able to see volume controls on screen. BassMX controls on the remote don’t appear in the app or on screen so you just have to guess what bass setting it’s on and adjust accordingly with remote. Navigation clicks on AppleTV were accompanied by a slight buzz sound from a vibration on the soundbar so I switched them off as it was bugging me.Tips: Set your tv settings to PCM, make sure the sound output set to optic if using that. Also If using an AppleTV box, as I am, then set format in AppleTV settings to Stereo as Auto or Dolby sound dull, I also selected Enhance on dialogue in same settings menu to give more definition to vocal audio. In summary this is an economic soundbar that is no frills and gives enhanced volume and bass to improve sound compared to your TV’s own speakers. The app is cool and is really useful and has a non complicated interface.

Very impressed!
Purchased this to add better sound to a 27' TV in the kitchen. It does this really well, from first power up the sound was so much better. The unit is neat, compact, nicely finished and sits just behind the TV in the corner of the worktop, there is enough clearance under the TV for the sound to project clearly. Exactly what I needed. The built in sound selections on the remote are not so different, but the phone app adds full 10 band eq and more. Using an optical cable to connect TV (an HDMI port would have been nice but at the price not a deal breaker) and the unit easily connects to my phone via bluetooth. The built in sub does sterling work at adding weight to the bass - no it won't rattle your windows, but it is very good and more than adequate. All in all a very neat, simple answer to better sound that works well and is very good value (at time of purchase was on offer at around £45).

A real improvement to my small TV sound
I bought this Ultimea Soundbar to improve the sound from a basic bedroom TV. The soundbar comes well packaged and complete with leads (inc. optical cable), manual and remote (although two AAA cells are required). The unit looks/feels very well made and is compact and, in particular, not too high so it doesn't obscure the bottom of the TV screen. I connected my unit via the optical cable and am very pleased by the results. The tinny sound from my TV has been replaced by a much more pleasant and adjustable tone, most notably, now there's a decent amount of bass and more treble presence, but do not expect the floor shaking bass like that from a soundbar with a subwoofer. The soundstage is also wider than the standard TV sound and the volume can, if you wish, be quite loud without too much distortion. The remote is well designed too, and features three preset modes plus a bass control. There's plenty of sound shaping adjustment to suit your taste on the remote, plus, you can download the free accompanying app for more options. I also like the compact dimensions of the soundbar making it ideal for transforming the sound of small TVs. In radio terms it's like moving from a tinny, small portable to a decent table model with a rich tone. Support details are included in the package.Overall, this soundbar delivers what it promises with plenty of versatility and represents really good value for money - it will certainly lift the sound quality of an average smaller TV.Update - I bought a second of these for my study which has a 24" Samsung TV, again, the sound improvement is vast.

Much better than tv speakers
Very well packed in a snug fitting box.Upon set up i found the fibre optical cable was very loose fitting so opted to connect via phone lead (also supplied)to the line out from tv.Also seemed very high on bass but simple to rectify using the tv sound equaliser.Doesn't swith off with the tv so have to switch off separatelyVery good for the money and would recommend as a cheap upgrade for your tv.

Blows all other similarly priced soundbars out of the water.
I have tried a lot of other similarly priced products - soundbars and bluetooth speakers, and not been able to get that clarity of speech from my tv that I require at my listening age.I watched video reviews of products and read online reviews and have been inspired to make some purchases which have underwhelmed and disappointed me. So I took the plunge and opted to get this soundbar purely on the spec and information provided by the manufacturer and with no reviews in sight - result: superbly satisfied and overwhelmed. For those of you who want crystal clear high frequency (treble) as well as bass if you need it and every other frequency in between look no further. There are pre-set equaliser settings on the remote (yes, it has a remote as well!) but on the easilly downloadable app which is easily paired with the soundbar are fully customisable sound and frequency levels that leave you stunned by the scope of this sound bar. I have transformed my tv sound output into true hifi quality. Every lead possible is also supplied to ensure connectivity - even wall brackets should you require them. Although I am not a bass fan, this piece of kit has a cataclysmic down firing woofer that will shake your house. Although true tweeters are not present in the unit, I really believe they are not required - I have tweeked this machine to deliver glass sharp high frequency. Superbly packed, I really can't say enough - for what I paid and compared to all the other big names that failed to give me what I needed, this soundbar ticks all the boxes.
