Leaving this review after 4 months of use. The whole thing has been brilliant as our wardrobe and for storage. It’s given us loads of space without taking up as much depth as a traditional wardrobe. It’s not hard to put together, the only thing I would recommend is to check all of your connections are tight once built by pulling on the joints from different directions as we got a couple of good clicks this way. We did buy an extra pack of connectors because we did a 7-6-5-4 step down unit, but overall it was cost effective and hasn’t let us down so far!

Ingenious system for quick versatile storage. Good value as the tool supplied can be used for other stuff. Instructions clear. I measured the cupboard where I planned to put it and designed the configuration wanted. However, I didn't take into account the extra couple of cms where the connectors protrude at the sides so it was a very tight fit and I had to improvise slightly. Also, I was short of two of the vinyl mats that line each cube.

Yes, they do the job. Not to difficult to put together they are stronger then you would think.

Perfect for creating bespoke shelving in understair cupboard. Created own version and houses loads of stuff tidily.

I wasn't expecting much to be honest yet now it's completed in my chosen figuration, it's really quite sturdy. I did however have sore ish fingers from pressing the joint parts in place, so I'd urge you to use the provided mini mallet (which was a lovely touch, and should of over-ridden my urge to ignore the instructions!). I've gone one step further with this, spurred on by another reviewer, and have now made it pretty bullet proof with a pack of tie wraps, picked up here on amazon. Overkill maybe but I needed to know that it was completely secure = kid proof! As for what fits, there are baskets on amazon that'll fit, just use the dimensions highlighted in the item description, or just go to b&m/quality save - I picked up 12 cubes for £30 and they fit perfectly. 30cm by 30cm by 30cm as a rule of thumb (the boxes I found are 28cm by 28cm for example. Happy to add pictures if needed, but you can basically configure the 16 cubes to your own space. Finally, fast dispatch and took me about 90 minutes working slowly with one eye on the TV! I'll be buying more to add to it soon (they are in an under stairs cupboard and I aim to fill the space!

I bought this to use as extra storage in the bedroom. Item was quick and easy to assemble even without using the included mallet. The plastic-y sheets used to cover the bottom of each section are very thin and feel super cheap but they do the job well enough. Once you've put stuff in the sections you can't see them anyway.It came with the mallet, spare clips, and a wall connection set (which wasn't needed in my case).Would recommend this product and would buy again if I needed more space.

With 6 indoor cats, I needed some sortof outside area. Pre-made catios were too expensive, to heavy and much to difficult for me to try and assemble on my own. I saw people using using wire cubes for small animalpens on line and decided to give it ago on a grander scale. That was a year and a half ago and and i've had no problems with any of it. Easy to assemble, it's 8 x 6 x 4 foot, i've also bought more and added a 4x3x6 side extention this year which i've enclosed like a greenhouse. - in fact it would make an excellent greenhouse- Being as it's outside and subject to the gorgeous Welsh weather i've reinforced it with a wooden frame and cable tied it to that, but you wouldn't have to do this indoors. all the joints are sound and theres no rusting. Pics show it under construction and being used. I created shelter by stapling clear polythene around the bottom and adding an artificial hedge. I've also added to the climbing equiptment. The only snag was I had to adapt things in order to make a hinged door. I'd love if songamics made plastic door hinges. Maybe something they could look into.
